A downloadable game for Windows.
This is a good game and I do recommend it, especially if you like a challenge. It's not as hardcore as you might like though. Graphics, music, platforming is well done.
Now, the game would have gotten 5 stars, if not for:
- The huge difficulty spike from level 12. Some challenges are too long - I finally got past one bit in level 15 but it kept going and I had to start all over again.
- The need to press down to hover. You should only have to hold a direction for horizontal fan blowing. This could have alleviated the dfificulty after level 12.
- No fullscreen. You can't even maximise the window.
- No audio options.
- Gravity is a little on the unfair side, especially when grinding down walls.
- For this kind of game, a quicker respawn is very much needed.
- You get a double jump but never is that told you.
- Level 16's wild goose chase. TIP: Go right.
- Minor gripe: You collect batteries but they don't increase your power pack. It's this game's keys or stars.
- Minor gripe: The vertical cave sprites don't tile well together.
- Minor gripe: No credits but you do get a "Thanks for playing" level. TIP: I killed all the monsters in level 17. It does nothing.
- I don't know how to return to level select and when I beat the game, I just had to quit the game.
TIP: Double jump only resets when you've hit the ground, not when you grind walls. It's the same as a lot of games but it helps to know.
