Loved the game! Really simple, balanced gameplay. Love the binding of isaac style progression. Item and health packs making a choice of going for a defensive or offensive playstyle adds a lot to what could have been a basic twin stick shooter. Variety of weapons and levels could help a lot in the future. (obstacles for example)
I liked this game :) i reentered 35 times :p it felt balanced overall :) Maybe a boss fight every once in a while would really help to keep it interesting :)
Awesome game! It definitely feels like Binding of Issac but with eggs lol, charming visuals and would be cool if expanded on with some giant egg-themed boss fights haha.

the upgrades are cool, but the rooms feel all the same, like if im moving in a loop , in and out of the same room

yeah , i know, after i scrolled trough the comments i saw that the room was an intended design choice lol
sorry couldn't get the mac version to work, but I'll try the windows version when I have access to a windows computer later this week.

edit: cute little game! I like the art style and that you used the arrow keys as the shooting! I kinda wish I was able to shoot diagonally, but wasn't the biggest deal in terms of gameplay. A little buggy, like at one point I spawned out side the borders of the room and couldn't get back in/shoot enemies. And honestly, it's a little too easy, so I wouldn't mind some more enemies being spawned at a time or stronger enemies overall. But good job, it was still a cute, fun little game!
We work with the theme in 3 ways
- You always play in the same room!
- Clearing the room in the designated time will add the remaining time to your timer.
- Gaining upgrades in a state will lower another, correlating stat (e.g. higher damage results in lower range)

This concept is pretty cool! The theme connection is a bit loose, but hey, its a fun game! Some more enemy types would be nice, and maybe have obstacles fall down into the room for some more variety.

I really love binding of isacc so i had no problem while playing :D . It was really fun i had enjoyed it more than i tought. My record is 21 room btw. My only complaint is that the map is not working? or is it just a decoration? Other than that great work :D
The map is actually part of the Theme gimmick!

Fun game! The controls are quite unique, but they work well. The design is also quite nice!
At one point I managed to get stuck behind the walls when not walking through the door immediately, so I had to restart.
That's an interesting bug! Time to go and fix it I guess!

Super fun game! Never played a game where the arrow keys are the shooting buttons but it really worked! The design is also really fresh and nice! I would probably make the bullets a bit bigger like in Enter the gungeon or Isaac, as it makes the bullets have a little more oumph! But overall really fun game! Well done :D
I really enjoyed it. Never played Binding of Isaac though. I think it could've used a little more variety though.
Good job guys. It is a pretty good take on a binding of isaac style game :) the only critique is that itd be nice to be able to do more! Powerups, wider range of enemies etc. But I understand its a quick gamejam
It's a pretty fun game, a bit too easy though. Enemy bullets are very slow and small and easy to avoid. The only challenging enemy is the exploding robot.

Hey. Its preety good. Its getting chaotic at floor 20.
As the other guy said, i am also a bit confused with the control at the start. It would be nice to put the controls instruction at the start of the game.
Now, is that chaotic good or chaotic bad? 🤔
Well. I was surrounded by two fire demons and one bomber with 1 hp left on me, so good times. :)
The difficulty really ramps up when there are three enemies in the room. There is little space to escape, so taking damage is inevitable. Putting good upgrades before difficulty jump might gives the player better chances of cracking harder levels.
It took me some time to understand how to shoot :)
And I would want bullet to be faster
