Very cool game! I really liked the main mechanic, the art and sound effect is great and gameplay was quite fun. I think the text could be a bit clearer since it's a bit hard to read. But overall, this is a very good game! Great job!
Thank you for playing! We'll work on text clarity in the future!
A pretty nice shoot em' up, I liked the main mechanic of the game however, it was a little unclear how it works at the beginning of the game. Nice job!
Thank you for playing! We definitely set up a tutorial in the future!
Nice
Nice
Thank you for playing!
very good game, i love these kind of games! , it's not bullet hell enough for me, but that's personal taste, the game fits the jam , the gameplay and mechanics are well made, the only thing that is missing is some cool background music to accompany the space shooting .
Thank you for playing! We'll try to get some space beats in the future!
Nice game, I'm curious to know on what engine did you develop it.
I thought the enemies were shooting too fast but overall, it's nicely done and I had fun.
The music was great too!
Thank you for playing the game! We worked on it using LibGDX it's a java based engine that allows for distributions on all platforms (Desktop, Web, Mobile). It's simple enough that you can start basic projects and has great tools that allow for rapid expansion. If you're curious to look into it there is a book called LibGDX Game Development By Example by James Cook, is a good entry point.
Really cool game! At first I had too much trouble reading what the power ups do to dodge bullets. Scrolling through the power ups was also a bit troublesome to pick the one I wanted to throw away. Really liked the mechanic tho, and really fit the theme very well!
We will definitely work on being more clear about power-ups visually in the future. Glad you had a good time! Thank you for playing!
Great concept and i like the visuals, although they are some premade asset!
Thank you for playing!
Very fun, great job!
Thank you for playing!
Amazing , this reminds me the older games .
Glad you liked it! Thank you for playing!
This reminds me of a game called Xevious I played on my old 3DS,
Very enjoyable, addicting, and fun to play, great job! :)
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for playing!
Solid shooter with nice graphics, sound effects, and a feel like I'm playing an arcade cabinet. Not sure I really grasp the "want to stay smaller" concept as the powerups gives me such as boost that I found it easy to win. Idea is there but perhaps the powerups should also affect speed, handling, firing rate, etc. all to make it more evident that "Sure, you are a tank but you are also a much easier target to hit now and will soon lose because there's too many of them and you are not fast enough to get them all" :)
Thank you for playing! When we uploaded the game we missed a bug where the shield's cooldown doesn't activate so you get very overpowered very fast. In a future patch, we'll have it so that becoming big is a much more dangerous activity than now.
