How does your game fit the theme?
A level has two phases: "calm" one, when you gather resources and find allies, and a boss fight, that starts after you get enough attention.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code and art was made from scratch
Music and sound effects were from https://www.weloveindies.com/en

This game definetely has potential. I liked the visuals I wish there were more of them - animations and less of the black. Also attention level grew based on movement buttons not the actual movement which means that you attract attention even if you don't move. But overall, good job!
Thank you!
Cool turn based game, really like the concept, and also the art is beautiful
Thank you!
I ran into the similar error as others. Neat Idea. See some potential in this. Some more animations and fx might have made it easier to see what was going on, especially in the battle parts. Either way, I think you did a good job.
Thank you! We'll fix the crash and make UI improvements after the jam
Good game and concept!! Had fun while it was running. Later ran into an error
The music and battle system was well made and polished. Just some visual cues might have helped the game more.
Kudos for making a fun game!!
Thank you! We'll fix the crash and make UI improvements after the jam
I like the concept. Its like a pokemon game but you are the pokemon. This has a lot of potential. You can take the game in multiple directions.
Thank you!
nice gameplay, looks very nice, did also get the error
Thank you! We'll fix the crash after the jam.
This graphic is so beautiful!
Thank you!
Unfortunately, keep getting `Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds` at level 2.
But I love your game so much! The graphic style, music, battle system, building team, etc.pretty much every thing.
btw which game engine that you used?
Thank you! We'll fix the bug after the jam. We've use Unreal engine 4.23.1 (last official version that supports html5)
Your art is amazing, love how original it is to play a butterfly / bee it's adorable !
Thank you!
Excellent game
Beautiful visuals
Good music
Pretty challenging
I faced some index out of bound errors and got stuck once, but this is a very nice game.
Great work
Thank you so much! We'll fix the crash after the jam.
Solid concept and neat art, crashed during the second battle though, so couldn't do much.
Thank you fo playing! We'll fix the crash after the jam, sorry for spoiled experience.
Nice idea, unfortunately encountered similar bugs to others and got stuck multiple times.
Thank you for playing! We'll fix the crash after the jam, sorry for spoiled experience.
hey! your game is so beautiful.
unfortunately, i couldn't get very far because there are some gamebreaking bugs.
( i tried multiple times, both browser and win64)
the game crashes in the second level battle.
once i got stuck on a flower and couldn't move.
would love to play the game properly. i treasure the style!
Thank you!
What an interesting idea! Kinda bummed it crashed multiple times, and the "calm" part of finding allies was actually much more stressful than the turn-based combat HAHAHA
I'd love to see more descriptions in place of images that are difficult to deduce what they mean. Resources are fine, but the attack phase actions and status effects are really difficult to navigate, I had to return to my gamer roots to trial and error what they mean to interpret the fun out of them. Help ease your players into what makes the game fun!
All in all a great start, hope to see more built out of this!
Thank you! After the jam we plan to make many UI improvements (show skills and statuses details, hp count, and so on). And fix all crashes of course..
I liked this neat strategy game, and art for this is amazing!
Suggestions:
- Reveal information about actions and abilities on hover
- Numerical stats would be good, like damage amount, HP in numbers and so on.
Thank you! We'll improve UI to add such details after the jam.
I really liked it, but as some others, I’m sad there is a lack of explanation & I got the same bug, after a few rounds in the second fight. Both in browser and with windows version.
Anyway, I love bugs, so it was great to see this game, the diversity of attacks is great though once again, no explanation as how they work or what they do. Great entry anyway
Thank you! We'll fix the crash and improve UI to add more details after the jam.
cool concept, liked the idea to collect things on a timer before the battle. just felt a little static since the actual system for collecting stuff was just walking around. couldve used a little more explanation in the description, especially the ally collection system + battle mechanics. thanks for entering!
ps got runtime error index out of bounds during battle
Thank you! After the jam we plan to make many UI improvements (show skills and statuses details, hp count, and so on).
I like the art style and interpretation of the theme. The whole drawing attention/action limit is pretty interesting. I was a bit confused by combat, and the second boss battle seemed very difficult. I crashed a few times but it was a cool game overall. As others have said, the mechanic of being able to collect resources to get new allies is great as well.
Thank you!
Really cool art style, sound and original gameplay! I really enjoyed it. Also I had a crash when fighting my second battle, bit unfortunate but it's a gamejam so no pressure about it 😅 But ignoring that little issue, the rest of the game is spot on, good job !👏🎉
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed plaing the game) Sorry for spoiled experience because of crash, we'll fix it after the jam.
Fantastic! There is art, sound, mechanics and everything!
Thank you!
