The perspective, card drawing, deck and overall strategy is pretty cool and fun to play. Really nice job especially on the visuals and audio.

Developer

That’s great to hear! Thanks for playing.

Interesting strategy-building game, the art is very clear and effects super nice! It looks like a full polished game.

Good way of showing the tutorial all by all it's a very good game, I'm just too dumb to play it correctly haha. Tho I didn't got bankrupt yet I got tons of money haha.

Developer(+1)

Nice! Once you get past the initial few storms, you're pretty much good to go if you can keep up with the repairs :)

Seriously well made. The game loop is super creative and a ton of fun. I love the literal interpretation of the idea here. This could easily be further expanded upon into something larger.

Developer

Thank you! We hope so too.

Very well made game, although good strategies weren't really coming to me and I kept dying. I'm not sure if that was a tutorialisation issue or something. But it was fun and very well presented nonetheless.

Developer(+1)

we wanted to implement more features, such as houses providing an income bonus to eachother, factories providing income debuffs to nearby tiles but also producing a lot of money themselves. Things to improve the overall thinking and planning of the game loop. But, we didn't have enough time.

It very well could be a tutorial issue :)

One of my favorite games I've played this game jam! Unique and very well executed. I think it would've been nice to be able to control the pacing of the game since there is a strategy to it - but that also would make it less intense so idk.

Developer(+1)

Yeah we debated this. If the game receives future updates then perhaps we can look into having two modes. But that will be a while! :)

Submitted(+1)

Very well put together game, cool vibe and a really good interpretation of the theme. Great work! Congrats and good luck!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, best of luck to you too!

I LOVED the UI, the general look and feel of this game. With a bit more polish, bugfixes and extra content I think this can easily be a full game on its own. And you people made everything from scratch?! I can't believe it...

Hopefully I'll be as good as you as a developer someday. Kudos!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, that's so nice of you to say! We're really glad you enjoyed playing :)

Interesting concept and mechanics, and very well executed, particularly on art and audio! It's weird how I was able to place buildings in the same slots, and I had one post-office that kept losing health, couldn't repair it, but its health never went down.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! That's a frustrating bug, but hopefully we'll be able to get it fixed once the jam is over!

Submitted(+1)

Very polished entry! Enjoyed the atmosphere, visuals and audio style. Visual effects are very juicy (even game name appearing in the main menu was suprisingly juicy). Would like to play it a little bit more after the jam! Very satisfying experience, well done!

Developer

We appreciate the kind words, thanks for playing!

It let me put tiles on tiles that were already placed.  (I put 5 tiles on the same spot)  But good job!  The art looks great!

Developer

yup that's a tricky bug to squash but we hope it didn't impact gameplay Too much :)

Really fun, and I'm not usually a fan of city-building games!
The 3 storm variations really add to the uncertainty of wondering whether or not you'll survive, was kind of hard to put this one down!

Developer

That's great, thanks for the feedback!

This Game is Great! Its really polished and Fun. I Only found 1 Bug when you place something over a  destoryed thing it overlaps and you cant repair it

Developer(+1)

Thanks, glad to hear it! That bug is annoying, but we plan on looking into it!

I got 50000 in the bank on my second try and truly felt unstoppable. This game has an immense level of polish and I haven't found a single bug while playing. The graphics are really unique and fun to look at so that's also a big plus.

This is a damn good game

Developer(+1)

That's really great to hear, thanks for playing!

This presentation is unreal and there's a lot of depth. I played for only 5 minutes, but i've bookmarked this to come back later and explore the systems

Developer

Thanks, thats nice of you to say :)

Beautiful game, amazing concept! I can definitely see this game fixed up and expanded into a proper game release. Great job in such a short time!!

Developer

Thanks :) Aside from placing tiles ontop of one another, did  you experience any other bugs?

Submitted(+1)

Really like the concept! With a little time this could be great!

Right now I feel like there are a few too many bugs and some inconsistencies that make it frustrating, especially in real-time. For example, tiles not placing down where I want them to, or overlapping on each other, or easily and intuitively being able to switch modes is difficult when it's a race against time.

Developer

Totally valid points - can I ask what you mean by switch modes?

Submitted(+1)

Switching between placement, removal, repair. I had trouble determining when I was in one versus another and would often have to readjust. That's painful when you need to be accurate due to the time restriction.

Submitted(+1)

Looks beautiful, is complex, nothing to criticize, great job! :O

Developer

thank you! We tried to make it both simple and complex in some ways, finding the right mix can be tough

Submitted(+1)

Hard but interesting game ! The graphics were a highlight for me, and the gameplay feels well developped ! I wish i could have a tooltip that lets me know what does the tile i'm placing so i can have a better understanding on how to place it ! A timer for the incoming storms would be neat too as i often got surprised while trying to read and plan my city :')
Overall the game feels hard yet fun and polished !

Developer

thank you! Balancing was tough on this one so maybe it's not ideal. Tooltip is a good suggestion there, we should've thought about that :)
