This is really cool! A game should be like this. Beautiful drawings, delicate introduction and fun gameplay. I had fun with this game ! Good job!

How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is explained in the plot (no spoilers!), and some of the game mechanics (parts can become rusty, completely changing your build, and enemy can explode, if you are not careful!)
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Realtime backpack hero? Was very cool and fun, though also difficult. Really enjoyed this title, thanks for the experience.
Very well polished. Professional quality. Beautiful game. Maybe a bit too challenging for me.
The explosion mechanic seems very hard. Or I'm missing something fundamental.
If I grab a big part from them, I never have enough time to fill the slots before dying. Is that by design? Are we not supposed to grab big parts?
Thanks for playing! I’m sorry that you had problems with the explosion mechanic. When we tested the game, we were managing to get the big parts in 10 seconds. I would prepare your parts that you want to change for enemy’s parts on the ground near the enemy’s grid, then quickly insert enemy’s part in your grid, and try to quickly fill the empty cells in the enemy’s grid with the parts, that are lying on the ground. I think, you’ll get the hang of it, if you try a bit more! (But only if you want to)
This game is fantastic for such a short game jam. I pretty much liked everything and enjoyed my time with it.
I will instead focus this review on the few things that could be better:
-Audio starting at 100 is not a good idea for web games.
-As pointed out in other comments, enemies can still act and attack you while you read the tutorial popups.
-The music is great, however the tune felt a bit too repetitive.
Other than that, lovely idea and execution. I can see this one potentially winning. Great job!
WOWZA~! The level of polish on the art and sound is incredible. Style reminds me of old-school indies like Super Meatboy and The Binding of Isaac. I will say though, I found it still pretty difficult to understand, I was unable to use 100% of brain to understand like good strategy. A couple of nitpicks:
1) During the tutorial, the enemies would still attack you, or sound like they're attacking you when you are reading. Also, I would end up dying in the tutorial and it would fully take me back to the menu where I had to restart it due to bomb guy.
2) There was a comment about adding a "'Fill the empty slot to stop the bomb!' label or ui text" I kind of agree with it, I feel like something needs to be there cuz I did not understand what I needed to do there, even with the tutorial (I was being very dumb so I can't really blame y'all on that lol).
3) The intro cutscene is unskippable at the beginning I think, I love the exposition and time y'all put into it, but would've appreciated some sort of ability to skip it if that isn't a feature yet.
Again, nitpicks I'm making here. Solid game y'all got.

Thank you! Yeah, I agree, in the tutorial we should have done that. About the second one, personally, I think it would good for the start, but a bit annoying later into the game (plus it was explained in the tutorial). Intro cutscene is unskippable on the first time you open the game, but later you can just press any key to skip it.
The art and music are super good! The game is very polished and enjoyable. It would be nice if the gameplay would pause when a tutorial window is on the screen :)
Great art and animations in the intro sequence! Gameplay feels pretty polished. Would be great to see some sinergies or maybe that modules influence each other in some unique ways. Also I got many computer encounters in a row from the start - maybe you should've give more various enemies right from the start.
Good job!
I check it out. It was hard to get how do I die but after I did it became fun risks management game. Would be very convenient if there was some kinda auto-swap feature so that gears automaticaly drop off to fit the new one. You can see the Backpack Brawl in Google Play (maybe you already did) as a reference.
Also would be great if each play started with less gear so that players could feel each run unique and that they influence it a lot. And of course it needs a bit more of explicity on what's going on, like when you pull out a gear it could not just start a bomb ticking but also show a text like 'Fill the empty slot to stop the bomb!' or something like that. And after losing I would like to see 'You lose' text because I only got that I was losing only after I read your another comment where you described all the ways you can die. Probably that was in tutorial also but there were so many words that I started skipping it through as any normal player would do :)
Incredibly polished and a cool concept, though I feel like you could've engaged with the jam theme some more. Very impressive visuals and audio work!
Amazing level of polish from the art and mechanics to the transitions. The game feels like it goes super deep and could defo be expanded into a full game; even potentially multiplayer with players trying to grab at eachother's components!
That said, I found it suuuuuuuuuper hard to understand what was going on. Even after the tutorial I felt like I was dying at points without knowing why. But that might just be me... not sure.
Either way, really enjoyed the game. The art style, music, transitions and interactions were fire!
Thanks for playing! In the game, you can die three ways: By losing all HP, by killing an enemy while they have any empty cells in them, and by exploding with the enemy when their countdown hits zero. It's important to note, that when you take parts from the enemy, that give HP, they are losing HP. If they are on a low HP, they might die, and because you just took a part, enemy now has empty cells in them. For example: Enemy HP: 5 and there is a Max HP Module in them, that gives 5 Max HP. You take Max HP module, and now they are on 0 HP. They died while having empty cells in them, so they explode with you.
This game is amazing, it's such a cool concept. I died so many times being greedy about a cool looking equip and exploding before I could replace the parts. I'm amazed at how deep the gameplay goes for a game made in 7 days.
Insanely well made game, great work!
Wow, I really liked the aesthetic that reminded me the flash games we played a few years ago. But the game mechanics are really innovating and interesting ! There might be a need for more difficulty tweaking, but honestly, what you've done with only 3 people is incredible ! You can be proud of your work !
Ok woah. This is super cool. I love the idea of swapping parts with your opponent to get an edge over them. It looks good and plays good too. I just had a little trouble in the tutorial. The game moves fast, and I died during the "robot countdown" without knowing exactly what to do. I think I got the hang of it, but I was kicked out of the tutorial because of the death(I don't know if it's a good idea to allow the player to die in a dedicated tutorial like this).
I need to play more later, but this is really well made. I'm excited to get better and play more!
I liked the game. It's an exchanging parts sort of roguelike game that I found enjoyable. Kudos
Great visuals and audio, the mechanics are pretty confusing, crazy you guys have so few ratings. Great game!
All items in the game (except for the Modules, which give raw stats) have a special effect, which usually depends on the position of other items. For example: Robot Arm gives +X DMG, where X is the size of the item next to it, or USB Flash Drive, which copies effect of the item next to it. Also, a lot of the effects depend on the type of the items. There are 6 types: Module, Robot Part, Mechanical, Electrical, Scrap and Heart. At the start of the game, you should just swap scrap for some items, and you'll defeat the first enemy!
The game page looks really good with the art. But unfortunately there is no content on the page, so I cannot play the game. The game is now playable, and it's pretty cool!
