Nice game! I did get lost so I wasn't able to make it back to the locked door after I got the key, before I died. But everything else was great! I hear that 3D procedural generation is pretty hard, so good job with that!

Nice visuals and audio design. It was fun to run around the mansion, but it was easy to get lost.
Near the end, I was also really close to death, despite not being cold or hungry and without any other
apparent reason. Otherwise, well done!

Yup, yup -  sadly the "wrath" meter and the curses were last-minute additions due to a drastic change of design right at the end of the jam - we didn't quite get to add some juice to it, so you don't really notice getting some curses if you don't know what's happening (like Poison, which is what took down your health - you can get it after the meter fills up, or when being in the same room as the tombstones). The only indication is the curse symbol that shows up on the left 😅

Mentioned this in another comment, but we see this as a tech demo more than anything else - showcasing the core idea of a much bigger game we envision and plan on continuing to make :D

Thanks for the kind words and detailed feedback! Appreciate it :)

Wow, it's very nice game! You've managed to do a lot. The visual is definitely worthy of 5 stars.

I loved the look and aesthetics of the game. I was really impressed with the design of the UI and how well it fits with the gameplay. I was a little confused on the demon meter, and it felt like my health would start going down without me knowing why. I do like the base concept, though, and it was fun trying to keep my hunger and temperature bars up! Overall a very enjoyable experience, good job!

Yooo, thank you for checking our game out!

And yeah, sadly the "wrath" meter and the curses were last-minute additions due to a drastic change of design right at the end of the jam - we didn't quite get to add some juice to it, so you don't really notice getting some curses if you don't know what's happening (like Poison, which is what took down your health - you can get it after the meter fills up, or when being in the same room as the tombstones).

Thanks again for the kind words and detailed feedback!

Oh, that makes sense now. I'm glad you're continuing development, it was a fun experience! I look forward to the finished project!

I liked the idea of trying loot a house, but every attempt making it harder. I do wish there was some more variety in the gameplay. I'm not really sure how I won. Try as I might, I never saw any monsters, just a couple graves coming out of the ground. I wandered for a while looking for the key once the shadow meter filled, but never found it. After a bit, the key was just in my inventory. I kinda wish there were loot items that would give you different endings, but required you to have them in your inventory using up valuable space. Game was simple, but the concept was good.

Thank you very much for the detailed comment!

Yeah, we are definitely missing some critical player feedback - the end was a little rushed as we had a big change in design last minute, haha - so we opted to just explain it a little in the page and guide. The key is given to you when the meter goes back to 0, "when the ghost calms back down" after it reaches max.

The graves are also sadly the only enemy we managed to get in - wanted to add more, as well as multiple floors, more items, combat - but yeah, didn't quite get to it!

Intense stuff, I really liked the interior, managing warmth and hunger keeps you on edge!
