Awesome Game, really liked it.I hope you like my game too!

It's a nice and simple mobile game. The art is pretty good and the music is alright, but I think the movement is way too hard to control. It starts off way too slow then quickly climbs to being way too fast. But otherwise, pretty neat. Please give my game a try too :)

Hey, loved your game,  loved your art , music , game design ,a bit of polish and your game will be pretty cool! I enjoyed playing it.
All the best and Good luck! Do check out our game we need the feedback! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574293

The game is fun to play, also the speed effect is great. I'm afraid but I have to approve "TheOpenFlare" with his comment, for me the graphics are a bit too inconstant too.

Noice game, man. the gameplay's solid, and the music is bangin'! but this is just me talking, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I'd personally recommend you to stay a little more consistant with the graphics next time. there are 3D models as objects you can interact with, and the background looks like pixel art a bit. I don't know if that was meant for compression or something, so take that imformation with a grain of salt.

Fun little game, good action!

Haha, while playing I always thought: "Why is this game so much fun?" :D
The Idea is so simple but it was really hard to stop playing your game.
Could you rate my game, too? :)

Submitted(+1)

Cool! I had fun playing this. It gets difficult as more things start popping up. Well done.

I like the mix of 2d pixel art in the background and 3d wooden obstacles. With a bit more time to polish, it could be a very addictive endless game :) I am not too sure to understand the reference with Canada but good job!

Developer

We are really glad you liked it! Thank you so much for playing and giving us your valuable feedback, we sure will work hard polishing to achieve a more entertaining and smoother experience. Regarding the name, the idea of the game came up from one of the developers, who heard that in ancient times there was said to be an endless hole in Canada. We dont know if its true, but we liked the idea and stuck with it :3

Wow, I didn't know that story! I think you could have put it on your game description or inside your game as an introduction (cutscene? :P). Thanks for the explanations!

As i gathered high speed it got extremely laggy, using opera GX here. i didn't got for what "Canadian" part in the title was standing for though, if there was joke i was supposed to understand it flew over my head :). Nice music and presentation. Had moderate fun with it.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for being patient and playing even while experimenting lag. There were plenty of perfomance issues we werent aware of while programming this game. Be sure we will keep working on it to make it feel smoother! Regarding the title, the idea of the game came out from one of the developrs who heard that in ancient times, in Canada there was believed to be a bottomless hole (we dont know if is true though hahaha) we liked the concept and end up using it as our game title :)

Submitted(+1)

Haha, it's very cool legend, never heard of it. U should include it on a game page, i think it could add a lot to the experience.

Developer

Wow, that's a really cool idea, we sure will work on it. Thank you so much for helping us improve our game!

Some people argue whether games are supposed to be fun or not. Either way, this one is really fun! There's even a decent amount of polish with the checkers showing where you last failed and the 3D models scrolling up as 3D objects not just sprites. Great work, I could see this work out as a mobile game!

Developer(+1)

We are so glad you had fun while playing, that was our main objective with this game! Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words, we are really happy to read your thoughts regarding the mobile version, as the game was designed from the beggining with the idea of releasing it for Android devices :3

I can't decide if the character has a mustache or a very wide mouth, Liked the game, and the music was on point.

Developer

Thanks for playing and commenting! It is indeed a moustache, we couldn't work as much as we wanted on the main character model/textures during the jam, but we will polish it for future releases :)

Thank you so much for playing! We are really glad you liked the animations, our favorite one is the explosion death :D

Cool game! I played the game on my phone and was impressed by the implementation of gyro controls! Definitely a plus! Also nice graphics, great job!

Developer

We are so glad you gave us feedback on the Android version, as we spent so much time adjusting the gyro control, it is very rewarding to read that you had fun playing with them. We are in fact more proud of the mobile controls than the web ones <3

Submitted(+1)

Took a little time getting used to the controls. But a really cool concept! Music was awesome!

Developer

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback and patience while playing. We know we can achieve smoother controls, so we will keep polishing them to give a better experience :3

Very fun game, simple but difficult. Great music. Got a little laggy at high speeds in webGL but there's not much you can do about that. Good job.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game and giving your feedback. We are learning so much about 3D web game development thanks to this jam, since our only previous web experience was using adobe animate. We are thankful for your patience while playing the game, your kind words inspire us to keep working hard :3

Loved the mechanics - bounce, parachute, dash !! Very fun.. But had some issues with the controls.

Audio is great.

Good job guys..

Developer(+1)

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! We sure did struggle while implementing the controls, and we are not yet fully satisfied with them. Be sure that we will keep working on them to make the gameplay feel smoother :)

I love it when the player moves into a rocket, it kind of looks really cool and funny. The audio is amazing. I am proud of finding your game and testing it. Keep up the good work mate.

Developer

Thank you so much for your possitive feedback, it made us incredibly happy to read your words, you gave us the strenght to keep working hard on this project!

This is a really good game! I enjoyed it a lot.
the parachute mechanics really make this game addicting, and the endless falling design fit the theme perfectly. :D

Developer

Wow, thank you so much for those kind words, we really appreciate it. As a matter of fact, we doubted if we should keep the parachute mechanic in our final release, now I'm glad we stuck with it <3

Congrats on finishing the game! Very patriotic! hahah

Developer

Thank you so much for commenting! We are actually Spanish, but we think that Canada is an amazing country, and sure has some of the deepest and finest holes ;)
