In what way does your game fit the theme?
It is protagonist motivation, a key part of plot.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and assets are made by me, during Jam.

Nice concept for the theme! I really enjoyed the challenge!
Thanks!
Hope you can check out my submission! Link below:

I suck
Wdym?
im bad at math, so basically im bad at this game. It was fun i really hope you keep on improving. I hope you try out my game, its my first game jam too
Thanks, I should make hints for levels, but I didnt have time for.
Hope you try mine as well a feedback would really be helpful
Nice puzzle but simple mechanics; I konw it's just the beginning good continuation
Thanks!
Cool idea! I liked the way it was executed! My one improvement would be the background music isn't great and gets repetitive fast. Other then that great entry!
Thanks!
It was a bit hard for me specially haha
I loved the variety of the theme for this jam! You made a really nice work!
Thanks!
I am really confused. I actually really like math puzzles but I couldn't understand what you were looking for, and couldn't find any relationship between 2, 8, and 7. I also don't understand how the 1 number we put in passes the information of both x and y.
So I tried to brute force it to see the next puzzles and it was the same puzzle but for some reason the answer was different. I am just really confused...
It looks really interesting but I can't figure out what I am supposed to figure out.
Oh, and by the way, when you get a puzzle wrong you are put back in the start of the entire thing, not just that puzzle.
Thanks, probably I should add hints, but I didnt have enough time.
cool one
Thanks!
This was interesting, I love puzzle games but I can't believe I don't understand how the math works. Spent a good solid 15 minutes staring at the screen trying to understand the relationship between the math and triangles. A bit confusing but good job! Rated
Thanks!
For your first few games, starting with what you know is always a good thing. This feels like something that you know well, and as it is your first game, you did a good job of making that into a game. As such, I want to comment more on the way it was built, as this is where I feel action is needed. As others have suggested, other engines are probably better for your needs. I have no idea what your goals are, but If you plan on making more games of this style, I would recommend Godot. It has amazing user interface options, and is built using its own tools. Definitely give it a try. It will take a while to find which engine resonates with you, but a lot of other people like Unity, so maybe you will too. GameMaker Studio 2 is expensive, but has a 30 day trial, so you can also give it a go. I've never used GDevelop, so I have no advice on it.
Thanks!
We got stuck at the first level. I'm not quite sure what the answer would be. Cool concept, though.
Thanks, probably I should add hints, but I don’t have time for.
I think maybe the math problems could start a little more obvious, didn't really understood what I had to do at the begging, Also I would say to try to randomize the constants of the puzzle each time the player play, so he can't just click any number until he discovers the right answer.
Thanks! Maybe puzzles are too difficult to pass, I will make similar game which should be easier.
I was in GDevelop too, before Unity. You may change the smoothing linear to pixel perfect in the project settings to get rid of the blurry effect. You can also find help in the GDevelop forum. They are very responsive and helpful. You can check my other game in the itch, it was made by GDevelop too :)
Thanks, probably smoothing linear in GDevelop isnt a problem, just I made too small picture and GDevelop made it blurry in practise. Instead of GDevelop forum I am on GDevelop discord.
Aww, Ok, but you should move to Unity or Godot, tho GDevelop is really easy to use, it’s missing many core features. If it had UI system like unity or Godot, I would not switch to unity.
Thanks!
The puzzles in this game were pretty cool, made me stop and think for a while and I felt great after solving them! Great job on your first jam submission!
This is an interesting take on the theme, and I haven't seen anything like it! Also, congrats on your first game jam! (This is my first one too :)
If you want, you can play/rate my game, too!
Im confused, cool concept but how does this fit to the theme? Other than that neat math game :)
It’s key point of plot (protagonist’s/player’s motivation). Rewind in my game isnt game mechanic/function in game, It’s all about plot from first scene.
Oh i get it thanks for the clarification :)
It's a neat concept but I don't really see much relation to the theme other than "rewinding" to the beginning when you lose. Not sure if that's what you were going for. Mostly seems like a math quiz but I still found it fun!
I love math puzzles, so this is a cool concept for me! However it's a bit confusing to understand what you have to click (x or y).
I like the concept - it was a pretty nice brain teaser, definitely would help if you are good in maths :D
there are a lot of room to improve though, for instance:
good job on the game!
Thanks!
The idea of the game is cool, because it relives the principle of the logic challenges, but I missed the theme a little bit, maybe for a future update it would be cool to put some direct mechanics related to the theme, but anyway good work !!
Just a little tip, when you are very careful with music but lively and with a lot of foreshadowing for puzzle games, this can hinder the player to think straight!
Thanks!
