I love the jump king vibe of this a really nice feeling game with original mechanics i have to stop before i get too mad lol. My record is 32% and I will be coming back to this soon.

Developer

This is exactly what we wanted to go for i appreciate it my man wish you luck if you play it again lots of love brother thanks for the message

Really fun. I take back what I said during the stream about the controls. Once you get used to it, nailing jumps (even if accidentally) feels really satisfying. Thanks for the game!

Developer

Thanks! We both watched you play and you were much better than we thought people would be! =D I'll make sure to check your game out too and thank you for the ratings we really appreciate it!

Nice polish, would be cool to do this with the mouse instead, could be a nice mobile game

Developer(+1)

yeah thats a good idea appreciate the response have a good day mate

Very cool game!

Developer

Thanks appreciate the kind words

This has a unique player control so far in my end because the play must separately determine the power of left and right and spacebar hahahaha. Thanks to the UI that I got the hang of it :) This also feels like Getting Over it but with extra steps of not real blocks hahaha. Awesome game, good job! :)

Developer

yeah lol! we went for the style of those rage games like Getting Over It and Jump King. Im glad you enjoyed the game and I will make sure to check out your entry too! =D

Fun game, obviously inspired by jump king. Great idea to put these bars on UI since it makes the learning process quicker (after all, this is a game jam).

One issue though, the game at the start told me I have to use A D and space for movement, while I had to use my mouse to get outside of the tutorial. Took me a while to understand what was going on.

Also, the jumping sound was too loud.

Developer

Yeah appreciate the feedback we turned the jump sound down a lot but on some devices it still came really loud through the game. nontheless thanks for the feedback

Very innovative movement. Doesn't feel especially frustrating when you fall because it feels fair - so good implementation of the mechanics. Overall a really fun game!

Developer

Appreciate it my man your game was very fun too. thanks for the play and feedback

Very challenging little platformer! I like the split between loading up the side movement and loading up the jump height :)

Great Job!

Developer

Thanks! Im glad you enjoyed! Yeah we wanted to make the jumping as easy to plan and use so we split the side power. Ill make sure to check out your entry too!

First off, great game. I've never been the best at games like Getting Over It and Jump King, but I stuck with it and it was well worth it. I definitely felt like I was getting better at the game as I was going through it, so well done. That said, I do think it was too hard for a Game Jam. It ended up taking over half an hour to finish and, for someone that just wants to play a load of Jam submissions, it's not ideal. Also, looking at the other comments, I agree that it was very hard. So, as a game, it's really great, especially for fans of the genre but I think the completion time and difficulty will put off a lot of people just browsing the submissions.

Developer(+1)

I definitely agree it was a bit too long and hard for a jam game. We did a few things to make it easier than other games of the genre with progression and power meters however Im glad you enjoyed the game!

Submitted(+1)

Yea, the meters were a good touch. I did appreciate those.

Very unique game, I like the movement idea! Maybe make the beginning a bit easier so people can get used to the controls?

Developer

yeah Definitely! Since we didnt go for levels we wanted to split the mechanics the further up the player gets. If we continue I think that suggestion or a tutorial level would be great. Thank you for the play and the comment =D

Nice game! A bit unusual movement, but I like it!
Maybe make the controls display in the game a bit more visible, nearly missed them hehe. But awesome game and fun mechanics! Keep it up!

Submitted(+1)

The mechanic of the game is unique and i really like it . The game is very hard tho i fell few times and just couldn't take it anymore. GJ

Developer

Thank you! and yeah haha we went for a harder style of game like Jump King. So I guess we achieved our goal haha

I fell down and ragequit

This is lovely! I had a great time playing this, I wish I could finish it but I got stuck in a block which caused me to fall way down. Great job on sound and gameplay!

Developer

Im glad you enjoyed the game! im sorry you encountered a bug once the jam is over we are definitely gonna go back and fix any problems that slipped in.

Developer(+1)

We hope you enjoy the game and cant wait to see the best time
