How does you game fit the theme?
You run through a never ending expansion of rooms, slowly being chased and eventually consumed by a black hole. The only way to escape this reality is to find the exit portal.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, most of the assets are from a purchased asset bundle.

Fun and engaging concept. The music gets really energetic once it gets going.

Didn't seem like there was much of a point to the gravity switching. Every obstacle I encountered could be jumped over. Maybe I missed something, though, since I never found the exit portal.

Would have been nice if you could leave "breadcrumbs" that persisted between attempts, so that you could remember where you've already been. Maybe there could have been environmental clues as to where the exit portal was too (unless there already was and I missed them).

This was a cool game! I like that you just had to constantly run, giving you no time to map out the rooms and get your bearings. Being able to shift gravity was also fun; my only critique in that area is that the shift was instantaneous, and so I'd recommend adding some kind of transition in the future. Still, this had great graphics, an awesome concept, and fun gameplay. Great job!

Cool game! :)

A nice concept. I like the gravity switching, though it maybe would be nicer if it had a transition instead of being instant. I didn't manage to escape but the movement was fun.

awesome ! fun game nice music did not manage to escape the void , maybe a map that unlocks areas that you have explored already . just a little polish and you got it!

I really like the graphics and the music! I'd just like to have a easier way to find the exit portal, besides just running around. Maybe have a direction to go, or some signs that give hints and stuff. Also, the first time I fell down I just kept falling until my health ran out xD

Great work! Keep it up ^^

Music was awesome, it fit perfectly. Graphics were awesome, I love chromatic aberration so that was cool. Impressive to make a randomly generating world for a game jam game, this is definitely the first I've seen that. Unfortunately, doing well felt like I just needed to get lucky with the generation. Maybe add in some logic to prevent complete dead ends, or give the player some ability to change the generation. But overall, great work!

Thanks for the tips!

Well done! The music was definitely a huge highlight for me, I sat in the main menu just to make sure I could listen to the entire track. The art was also very nice. I have a few suggestions for the gameplay similar to some of the other commenters. 1) The black hole obstructing your vision when it is closely behind you is a little problematic. Perhaps adding some sort of indicator that the black hole is close and adding face culling to the inside of the cube could be a fix. 2) I think that being chased down in a maze that is pretty open ended can be a bit frustrating. It felt bad to lose when I would reach a dead end and couldn't avoid the black hole. Perhaps adding a bit of linearity(closer to an endless runner maybe?) so that getting to a dead end is less punishing would be cool. 3) Maybe a gravity switch animation would be nice. The instant change in position was a bit disorienting for me and I didn't realize immediately that I was just going from floor to ceiling. None of those were game ending issues for me though and I enjoyed playing!

The audio was really fitting and the graphics have a nice style overall. The only troublesome thing is clipping of the void through the camera - at which point you cannot see the player nor where you're going. Other than that, a job well done!

Thanks!

Loved it!

The game was really fun and nicely polished.

it took me way longer than I'd like to admit to understand that reverse gravity means walking on the ceiling 😂

But the game is nicely made, good job!

Wow this was such a cool game! I really enjoyed this game and had a lot of fun playing it. I did struggle a bit to find the portal but that was all part of the fun! Great job on this.

Great game, very polished! (Did however crash one time when looking at character from the side, through a wall, when the black hola reached med. Ended in an endless loop of the running animation from a weird camera angle, and no Game over-screen). But very nice game, fun, good design. Impressed by what you've been able to do in only one week!

One of the better applications of using different planes. I couldn't find the portal so some form of indicator might be useful. And I'm not sure if the game continues if you fall down a crack but land back again on the ceiling. Anyways a great entry. Bravo!

Wow super polished game and awesome mechanic! it was very visually stunning! Incredible work and super impressive for being done in a week's time! Great job!

Definitely a format I don't see often! I eventually found the portal, but I feel like a compass just to tell what direction the player is going would add to the experience. I enjoyed the game!

I like the idea of the game and assets are lovely.

Suggestion:

-You can actually change the gravity through code so we can actually feel like we change the gravity. Maybe we can even have some ragdoll to stabilize it to make harder? IDK that point.

-A simple tutorial or story line could be awesome

I thought it was hard to tell whether or not I was  making progress. I like how you have to use your gravity ability sparingly. I found it to be smooth, straight forward, mostly bug free, and fun. Nice job!
