How does you game fit the theme?
The player find themselves in a deserted place and trigger a curse that leads to daemons flooding the place. Also something with the ending
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used premade music and font, everything else is by me.

Really great art style! The limited colour palette adds a lot of ambiance to the game, and the silhouettes imply a lot of detail that would otherwise take too long to fully create in a week. There is a lot of polish to be seen, and the combat has lots of satisfying feedback, especially on side attacks. On top of that, the final boss is super cool, and it's great to see boss battles in a game jam project! Great work!
Thank you for the kind words ! 🙏
The art style was indeed to allow myself to be more efficient with making animations in the limited time of a jam, I'm glad that you noticed ^^
Thank you for playing 😄
This is incredible regarding this time span. I love silhouettes.
Thanks a lot ! :D
It's very beautiful. I really love the style and that's what drew me in. The controls are cool too with the S + Attack and the variable jump. Combat could be improved but I like it. Level design is amazing imo.
Overall, I loved it. Keep it up and maybe this could be a full fledged game!!
PS: The character art is so nice, how'd you make it?
Thank you for your kind words ! 🙏
I've been focusing a lot on pixelart animation for my past 2 jams and came up with a similar art style from my previous game. Having "silhouettes" for pretty much everything "gameplay" allows me to make a lot more animations quickly, since I don't have to draw the details on my characters on every frame and I can concentrate on making one nice looking background. So the art style is in good part like that to be efficient in the little time of a jam.
Thank you for trying out my game :D
You're right I'm legit drawn to these silhouette type games a lot.
You're welcome!
Creative enemies, interesting story, very nice to look at, and fun gameplay, well done!
Not relevant to the jam but how do you add gifs in place of screenshots? It makes your game's page look amazing! (I've looked it up but can't find answers!)
Thank you for playing :D
And you can add a gif screenshot in the "edit game" page, just pick your gif, but it needs to be less than 3mb in size fsr on itch, which is the real challenge haha
Thank you!!
Hello 👋 dev here ^^
The third before last level might be a bit too hard from what I understand (the one with the bulls/charging enemies). Feel free to use the level select to skip ahead to the "Where is She ?" level which is the one right after, you wont miss any part of the story by doing so.
You can access the level select menu via the pause menu (Esc, P or "start" on a gamepad)
the game was great. tbh i couldnt get past the 2nd hammer boss. the menu music sent shivers down my spine it was amazing, the art style is very cool i loved it. it was simple but looked good at the same time.
Yeah it's the last section before the final boss fight. It might be a bit too hard 😅
You can skip ahead through the level select menu, if you want to.
Thank you for playing 🙏
Great game, (I just got past the first charging enemy)! The silhouette art style is really unique.
Thanks a lot :D
