How does your game fit the theme?
You write the end of the stories, and the end of the story becomes a new beginning for its sequel that you also decide.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code was written from stratch, every asset other than the tilemaps were made by me and music was royalty free (not made by me)(all linked in the description)

the game is sick voice over fitted very well in the game the game is a bet challenging I wasn't able to finish but overall great work my friend
Such a good game (best one I've played so far). I love the idea and I don't know how you managed to make this in one week. The movement is perfect. But here's some constructive feedback:
The game is pretty hard. It's also very repetitive (it made me stop playing it ,I couldn't get past the chicken slaughterhouse). When I was in the field killing the fiends, it wasn't very clear where I had to go next so an arrow or something would be nice.
Amazing concept, loved the story telling concept. But gets repetitive after a while, wish there was a different narrative or a way to switch to a different story. Also game play was hard.
LOVE games with voice acting, already awesome!!! The concept was good, but the gameplay was very hard. I liked the narrative feel of the whole.
Great work!!!
I like all scenes in the game soo good!
so creative how the end actually was a new beginning, and how the story teller would guide us through the game, "and just when the hero thought he died he was sent to the past"
Love your style! Narrative and overall atmosphere are great! Well done!
Nice and colourful art, multiple game modes - nice job, this came together pretty well!
Pretty cool and enjoyable to play through the stories you make yourself
Very interesting idea and a unique point of view for a game. Well done.
Really good game. The choices for different narratives is great and the voice acting was fun to listen to (the addition of subtitles was also great). The art complimented the gameplay nicely. Unfortunately also ran into the softlock at level 2 from doing the same path as the other person who did
I really enjoyed the game! The soft storytelling, the results of your decisions... Great game!
Well played with that game! The amount of work you put in the voice acting is great!
I got soft locked in the "second level" though
First I chose that the hero joins the evil lord, then I chose that the hero overthrows the evil lord, and at the start of that level is a puzzle where you need to walk on every tile to progress, but I walked straight to the door and my character started "vibrating" and I couldn't move him anymore :(
But that's a cool idea you had there, definitely original, kudos!
I must have forgotten to put the door on the collision layer for the grid based movement, sorry for the inconvenience
Very well made! Gotta love a choose your own adventure story. Narrated and put together well. Overall, well done!
Loved this! The idea of essentially making your own game was so cool! Loved the weapon as well!
Oh, and the narrations are awesome! I'd recommend making areas larger for the narrations to play all the way through.
I like this interesting combination of breaking 4 wall and theme of game jam. Cool!
this is really good man i love the idea and it turned out really well
Wow, this game is awesome! I really loved the voicelines within the game
I love the idea here! I can't believe how much you packed in here in just 7 days! the visuals were what stunned me the most and I love the reactions after you have completed an ending. Overall great idea and great execution!
