Such a good demo project and well executed.

Developer

Thanks! 🤩

I love this kind of puzzle game. This is an innovative idea that rotate maze to change gravity. Well done!!

Developer

Thanks alot! 🤩 I've had some similar ideas for a while but figured I'd try to make something this Jam. And I really like how it turned out! Will definitely keep adding to it. 🤗

Wow you developd this on your phone? With no library? Just wow! The rotate is a neat idea. Looking forward to seeing more.

Developer

Thanks alot! 🤩 Yeah I sure did! I really like building out the game from scratch. Being strictly mobile isn't all that bad actually. Having an IDE in my pocket is a god send when having a few minutes to spare. 🤗

Ok,like you said it's a work in progress. There's some edges that needs to be rounded. The rotation mechanic it's cool and the puzzles are nice. The controls are imprecise. Overall nice work.

Developer

Thanks alot for trying out my game! 🤩

You're definitely right about them controls, those are rough and a quick throw together for the Jam. I am working those out currently and those will get updated in near time. 🤗

Nice game I think the puzzle mechanic is  really cool! The controls need some work and a clear explanation/ tutorial or even just a bit more build-up before throwing the player into things would go a long way! keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like the overall concept of the game. 🤩

I was thinking about having smaller tutorial levels. Like the couple first 3 or so to show people how the game works. Those are being worked into the game as I'm done adding more mechanics. 🤗

Lovely game, well done!

I played this on my phone:

Jumping is a pain. It takes 5, 6, 7 tries to time it right and jump one block left or right. Ugh.

The buttons at the top of the screen overlap the level.

Thanks alot for the feedback! And for trying out my early tech-demo build!

You're definitely right about those hiccups. Those are all sorted in a new build but unfortunately can't push it right now since game is locked due to the Jam. 🥲

The concept is good, keep working on it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really like the concept of this prototype aswell! Will most likely continue the development of this game as I find time for it. 🤗

Thanks for trying out my early tech-demo of a game! 🤩

I fully agree with you, my initial plan was to have those POWER-ups ready for the Jam but there wasn't enough time for me to get those in. Scheduled for a later update I guess.

For now I guess the only reference for anything POWER related would be the POWER-pain getting it built in pure JavaScript on a phone I guess. 😅

Alright i think this counts as a power, good job. :D

Great entry!

Aside from the control scheme and movement this project was very refreshing! It reminds me of Fez and also another game that I can't think of at the moment.

I really liked figuring out the puzzles.

Oh wow, thanks for taking the time to try out the game! Those initial mazes are pretty much just placeholders. I have been adding more traps/enemies/objects to expand the puzzle-mechanics. Those will be added in a later update. ☺️

The controls are a mess, will be reworking those aswell!

Great achievement, keep up the good work!

Developer

Thanks! I believe it has potential! Thanks for trying out the game. 🤩

It's impressive that it got developed on mobile! The controls are a bit rough though.

Developer

I definitely agree! Those are being reworked in a later update. ☺️ Thanks for trying out the game! 🤩

Cool game, especially knowing that it was developed on a mobile. Funny point, you can cheat because the character can move before touching the ground when the maze rotate

Developer

Thanks for pointing that out! Will add a fix for that. ☺️ Thanks for trying out the game!

very cute and charming, impressive you created this using just a cell phone.

Developer(+1)

Thanks alot! Yeah it's a challenge working solely on a phone but I've gotten used to it. Such amazing to always have your dev setup in your pocket for them quickie sessions! Thanks for trying out the game! 🤩

rotating a maze is really a great idea GOOD JOB!

Developer

Thanks! I found that idea really interesting aswell and wanted to try it out! There's endless possibilities going forward with new features. ☺️ Thanks for trying out the game! 🤩

That is the wildest jump mechanic i ever experienced :D

Developer

Yeah, jumping is a mess right now. I'm reworking that in a later update. My gravity tick is affecting it badly. 😅 Thanks for trying the game though! 🤩
