A lot of non-puzzle games made the mistake of designing around the ON mechanic only without back and forth. THIS game however has made the "mistake" of designing around the OFF mechanic only without back and forth, cause boy oh boy are the odds stacked against you.

If this a joke submission, then the game over screen is a great punchline. 10/10

Developer

You're right that this is a joke submission, so I didn't really go into too much detail. Good luck on the Jam. You deserve first place in the theme category.

Easily 5 star on Graphics and Audio. The feels of this game is so good! I was hoping for a longer a gameplay and theme is not quite implemented. But overall, great job!

Developer

Thank you. I agree that the gameplay is short and simple. I didn't really have too much time available, and my goal was more to make a joke than the whole game. Regarding the topic, the goal of the game is to TURN OFF the computer.

Gotta say, seeing my boy Win98 in a 16:9 format is nothing short of sacrilegious, but I'll let it pass >:[ very funny spin on the classic arkanoid! And the game over screen killed me lol, bravo!

Developer

Thanks for review pal.

It's just horizontal breakout, but I have to admit I had a chuckle when loading it up and the first time I died. Thanks for bringing some good fun to the Jam! (Also, if you have a chance please check out my entry as well :) )

It wasn't even my intention to do something serious, but to make someone laugh. Mission accomplished. Your game checked and reviewed.

Funny little game! Can't wait for the Windows XP release!

Developer(+1)

Well, probably in the foreseeable future there will be something in XP style. Since I am now in the Operating system phase, I am working on a game related to the Commodore 64 operating system for 1bit jam. Thanks for playing and for your game that brought a smile to my face.

This game is hilarious, I was laughing the moment I start playing however I couldn't keep playing for longer because it's just breakout. I congratulate you for sticking with the joke, it was really funny but there could be more to make the game engaging.

Developer

That was the goal to make someone laugh. Thanks for playing.

Ha, what a fun little game! Those sounds are nostalgic. I wish the gameplay was a little bit less random, but indulging in the chaos was fun. Good job!

Developer(+1)

I could have worked a little more on the gameplay, but my goal was primarily to make a joke. Thank you for playing.

Nice job! Funny idea for the theme, and great execution of the graphical interface, original concept. High marks for the humor and originality!

If you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love your feedback, thanks!
