Hey there fellow GMP members!

We are excited to announce the One-Button Challenge game jam, a two-day event where you'll get to create a game that can be played with only one button or input. This jam is open to everyone, no matter your skill level, and it's a great opportunity to challenge yourself and get creative with minimal mechanics. 🕹️

The One-Button Challenge game jam will start on Saturday, February 4th at 12:00 AM and end on Monday, February 6th at 12:00 AM. You'll have 48 hours to create and submit your games.

The theme of this jam is "one-button", which means all games must be able to be played with only one button or input. This can be a physical button on a controller or keyboard, or it can be a touchscreen input. The goal is to create games that are simple and easy to play, but still challenging and fun. 🎮

To participate in the One-Button Challenge game jam, all you need to do is create a game that fits the theme and submit it to this Itch.io Jam and to the Game Makers Philippines Discord server by the deadline. You can work alone or in a team, and you can use any game engine or programming language you like.

• All games must be able to be played with only one button or input.
• Games must be original and created specifically for this jam.
• No offensive or inappropriate content is allowed.
• Submissions must be uploaded to itch.io and the link must be posted in the appropriate Discord channel before the deadline.
• Include a description and any relevant media (screenshots, videos) with your submission.
• Team sizes are unlimited, but all team members must be credited in the game and in the submission.
• Games must be completed and submitted within the 48 hour time frame of the jam.
• By participating in this jam, you grant Game Makers Philippines the right to use and showcase your game for promotional purposes.
• Have fun and be creative! 🎉

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria

• Originality: Does the game bring a fresh and innovative twist to the one-button theme?
  
• Fun factor: Is the game enjoyable to play?
• Mechanics: Does the game utilize the one-button mechanic in a creative and effective way?
• Polish: Is the game visually appealing and free of bugs?
• Theme adherence: Does the game fit the one-button theme?

To submit your game, simply upload it to itch.io and post the link in the game-jams channel on the Discord server before the deadline. Be sure to include a description of your game, as well as any relevant screenshots or videos. 📋
