Interesting idea of how you can control enemies as well as the player! It gives the user more agency over simply "you lose control of the character".

Developer

Thanks you! I liked my idea but I don't know if I implemented it well enough, that was my first puzzle game

I love the idea! Turning your characters seems a little unintuitive and a tutorial would be nice. Definitely some potential here.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Turning it's relative to the direction the characters it's currently facing

While I have no idea how to get past the first level, It was still quite fun to play. I love the clean pixel art graphics!

Developer

Thank for the feedback! Don't worry, it's normal because this game lacks a proper tutorial, my bad

The trick for the first level is that you have to make the two archer face the same direction. This way, you can pass through them without getting shot

Weird controls. Getting used to it takes way too much time. it is not intuitive.

Thank you for the feedback! I gotta agree on the controls. A tutorial would be better

I played the full version. This is the best looking game I have played so far. The mechanics are a bit hard to figure out (as a warning to other people trying it out) but really rewarding once you do figure them out! I will admit I almost quit since I did not understand how I could get past the first level :) All in all I lost control 40 times before I could finish the game, but I was really satisfied. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah I gotta work on the controls and the tutorials

The controls in this game were really hard to get used to. I kept hitting left or right to move left or right but instead I would turn, then get shot.  I really like the art style though, it looks really polished!

Developer

Thank you! I will add more info about controls in the description.

Since I did this game alone, I used this sprites:

https://pita.itch.io/rpg-monster-pack

https://pixel-poem.itch.io/dungeon-assetpuck

yeah they're really good looking

Developer

Well, I made a mistake and uploaded a build with only one level.

Here's the one with all the 5 levels:  https://pole458.itch.io/ctrlmectrlu

If it could help, the previous build I updated was ok, but I don't know if it's still stored on Itch.io
