Great mechanic! It is a really fun and well polished game. I like the different enemy types.

Had to play this one! Just wow. The mechanics are golden. Not to mention that it looks phenomenal! Thank you for this gem :).
Very innovative and fits the jam theme well making an overall great game. Fantastic work!
Great work, especially for a game made in 48hrs and original concept. Enjoyed the art style and was fun to play. I like the fact that you can jump in the water but only for a short amount of time, gives some room for player error.
I love everything about this game. My friend and I just spent a couple hours taking turns trying to get a high score. Great submission!
Overall I really enjoyed this game! I absolutely adored the art and music and the idea was really interesting. While playing the game however, I found that there were definitely some flaws.
For example I though that hitting other blocks would destroy part of my raft and was avoiding doing it until I was unable to avoid it and found out that they get added to your raft, not destroy it. In addition I found that selecting blocks could be a bit finicky when paired with the movement, as I would sometimes end up on top of the block I wanted to select and unable to actually select it without moving again.
Despite these shortcomings the game was super fun to play and kept me engaged for quite a while. For sure deserving of all of the popularity its been seeing and I would love to see an expanded version post jam.
The core mechanic in this is really inventive! I loved the 3d pixel art aesthetic you went for and the variety of mechanics that discourage both having an extremely wide raft and a width 1 raft. That said having a narrow raft seemed in general like a pretty good strategy and I was able to get 353m with it.
One thought I had was since the game is in 3d and you can jump it would be really cool to have obstacles along the z-axis (or y-axis depending on how you implemented this :p). Jumping only seemed useful for crossing 1 square wide gaps in my raft but I could easily imagine stacking blocks to build a raft of greater height to collect some power up above me (stacking blocks right now seems to just overlay them on the same square). Or maybe there's a log that fell down horizontally across the entire river and your raft is able to pass under it but you need to jump over it to avoid falling into the water.
Anyways, great game and definitely deserving of its popularity!
I really really like the music and the art <3 the idea was absolutely great as well, but the execution wasn't that good... I couldn't select the right blocks because once I hit the arrow key the character starts moving and goes on top of the block I want to select, you could've made the character only moves when the button is held for longer than half a second or something like that... some collectibles are impossible to collect, but I understand that's the best you could do in the given time , also you could've made the difficulty scale up rather than the game starting hard when I'm still learning how to play... overall I loved it and it's one of my favorites, good job!
/a web version would've been nice/
Incredible job! I can see that a lot of work went into this game, and the amount of polish is fantastic. The particles, the sag of the blocks that you stand on, the floating corpse where you died last, and the little fish are all great touches on an already great concept.
