WOw! Everything in this is awesome: I love the "bzzz-y" soundtrack, the level design is incredibly clever, and the simple artstyle is lovely. Good work! :D
You’re awesome!
bzzzt bzzzt bzzzzzt
BUZZ BUZZ THANK YOU
Wow such a great idea. Very well done!
Thanks!
I love bees! So cute! Great little puzzle game! Nice scaling of difficulty and complexity. I think all the mechanics made a lot of sense too! And I think that games that have non-human characters are very fun so extra points there! The thing that made this game really win me over though was the music, I cracked a big smile when the buzzing started! Lovely touch!!
So glad the game could make you smile! Games are supposed to do that!
Hahah, I think somebody here realized idea for my game much better! And this soundtrack is astounding, I was vibing when bzz bzz started to play X D Can't really say anything bad about that o-O
Thanks Mumin glad you enjoyed the experience! Really liked your game too!
Love the soundtrack
Big shout out to my friend Phil for the music! He’s the mastermind behind that one! Thanks for the feedback!
Very original concept, i'll give it a bzzz/5 stars
also, the feature where you can combine the speed of multiple bees, 99% certain that's a bug you left in, but i think you did the right choice in doing so because it's a very neat mechanic
oh and the music is amazing, absolutely love it, what more is there to say about it
The combined velocity mechanics was not a bug (pun intended). That was by design! Every link influences the movement of other bees so when a bee has multiple links, it can reach the added speed of others. One thing I didn’t have the time do was a threadmill mechanics. You need the combined speed of multiple other bees to reach the speed needed to walk over the threadmill. Could’ve been neat! Thanks for the feedback!
bug or not, its a great feature, would've loved to see the threadmills
Bzzz, bzzz! 5/5
BZZZ THANKS
Adorable aesthetic and music. The level design really does justice to the mechanic. Would love to see more puzzles. Awesome job!
Thanks!
Really clever level design! And my god, the music is fantastic!
Thank you!
I love this game mechanic! The music is also amazing. Good job!
I really appreciated the ideas presented. On the level with the auto-jump though, the timing was really tight and it definitely caused a bit of frustration.
Yeah the last part of the 10th level is kind of a stretch, but I liked the fact that every mechanic was combined into a single challenge. That was what I was aiming for, but I agree that one is a bit tricky. Thanks for the feedback!
A very charming puzzle game! I feel like even though the "mimic controls across multiple characters" mechanic is a running theme in the jam, this one adds a nice spin on it with choosing *when* to start/stop mimicing controls.
And on top of that, the music is super cute! I stopped playing for a minute to just appreciate the entire loop when the "Bzzzzz"s came in! Props to Philippe Grant for that :)
Thanks a lot! Phil would be very pleased to hear that!
This game was frickin' adorable! I especially loved the background music. There was a moment in one of the levels where a bee could connect to a bee that was already connected to it, making it so that the bees would move really fast after pressing an arrow key and still keep moving after releasing. Maybe put in a condition that a bee can't connect to a bee that's already connected to it?
Oh yeah I forgot to handle the infinite loop!! It would be cool if there was some special interaction when that peculiar event occurs, but now it just creates a weird infinite speed gain loop. Thanks for the feedback!
Very good. Definitely Top 100 if not Top 20.
I easily felt compelled to play through all the levels. All aspects of the game fit well together and I felt challenged but not /too/ challenged. Very well done!
I wish this would come true!! Thanks a lot for your feedback! :D
Challenging, but fun! The puzzles were really good and varied in this game, which kept me playing for a while, and it was always satisfying when the solution finally clicked and I got my way to the end. It was difficult as well, which kept the stakes high, though I'd say at some points it felt unfair, especially when obstacles seemed to be there just to slow you down. It was hard to keep track of all the mechanics at first, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out what everything did. The artwork was cute and charming, and along with the music it helped add some nice personality to the game - I loved the little buzzing! Some more feedback could've helped, though - dying felt sudden, with everything just resetting, and especially with how often it happened. It was a fun game, though, and I had lots of fun working my way through the levels! Good work!
You're totally right about the user feedback. If I had more time (or less sleep) the next step would have been to add more polish in terms of user feeback such as Particle effects when you collide with objects or die, add some UI to guide the user, and make the flow of the game more convenient when you die or begin a level. Thanks for the great feedback!
Very clever idea! Well polished! The levels are well desgined! I want to BEE more! ^^
BEE free my friend, BEE FREE
Amazing! Ame-sting?
Top marks across the board, as even for the times I had to re-restart the level (some of the kill-zones can be a bit finicky to get past), the music kept me playing.
(Also the very left side of the screen seems to get cut off by a little?)
There's a glitch with itch.io player with my aspect ratio! I can't seem to find out why. The problem of borders is solved if you click the fullscreen button you'll see the game in the proper aspect! Sorry about that! Thanks for the amaZTING feedback!! :D
Very clever game! Artwork is charming, music is awesome, and the puzzles are a good combination of challenging and interesting. That you introduced so many elements in such little time is quite an achievement! Great job!
Thanks a lot my friend!
This is definitely one of my favorites of the jam. When the buzzing in the music started I was like "this is magical"
Your game was also one of my favorites!! Let's make it top 100 my friend!
Yessss! Straight to the top!!
I thought this was going to be another one of those 2 player games. No! with the clever addition of stuff like the velocity combo i think this is a very unique game!
Thanks for the great feedback! Glad you liked the mechanics I tried to introduce :)
