Well designed little puzzle with an interesting mechanic.
Love the aesthetic too, very unique and well executed. And the music fits nicely with the mood.
Excellent! Great little puzzles, though I thought the second-to last was much harder than the last one. I could go for a few more!
Glad you like it! Fun fact: the last level was added minutes before I submitted it, so I didn’t work much on it. I also intend to add some more levels after the jam!
Interesting puzzle. However, it seemed to me that restart is too easy which just gives you an opportunity to memorize the sequence, where the main challenge becomes executing afterwards.
Maybe, that was an idea, though?
Not sure if I understand what you mean, but in most puzzles once you know the solution it is just about executing it
cool puzzle! the premise is so simple but it becomes so challenging! =)
love the pixel art, but the green color pallete tires my eyes a bit (maybe its too bright)
Thanks for the feedback! I will try tweaking the colors in case I update it
Nice desing on the puzzles, they were interesting to beat. Nice job^^
Loved the look and feel. Also, the puzzles were difficult enough to feel rewarding. Good job!
Nice Puzzle game, it has some really clever mechanics and level designs good job on your game!
Was very necessary to stop and think on what to do which is very impressive for a jam game. Really fun time playing this one. I see it mentioned below and am sure you know about it but a preview to see better where the boxes would've switched to would've been very welcome.
The energy I think was a fine addition since without it there could be a lot of brute forcing and hosing around to get to the exit without much thought.
A fun and straightforward puzzle that wants a player to find the most optimal way to solve the level. I am guessing ur presentation is "linking up OS system".
confusing area
- Can't tell where is the circle is at the start of the level. change the color of the circle would make it easier to spot.
-Can't tell where is the other "square" without using energy. having a dotted square is could help inform the player where are they without wasting energy switching around.
Extra suggestion for improvement
-Adding enemy (in-game context "virus") that move per turn the same way as you, will give variety and more challenge.
-Adding a battery to either recharge energy or give player points, it could make the level easier or give the player an optional objective "collect them all" aka more variety to your game.
Thanks for the feedback! Funny enough, I intended to add both your extra suggestion, but time didn’t allow me at the end.
No prob, thanks for trying my game too. Yep, time is always an issue, so a good design skill to have is cutting feature without affecting fun.
on the bright side, it means both suggestions are considered safe to implement since this game is asking these feature to be added.
The level difficulty of this game is perfect. Not too hard and not too easy. One minor suggestion, maybe remove the energy bar cause I don't see why it is necessary.
Thanks for the feedback! I will consider it :)
Great puzzle level design with a perfect difficulty curve, combined with a pleasant theme and soothing soundtrack, absolutely loved it!
The aesthetic feels authentically retro, I liked it a lot. Each puzzle was a fun challenge, and for the most part each level was more difficult than the last, so the curve was perfect. I had to think about it for a bit, but I wasn't ever ripping my hair out, which is the perfect level of difficulty for a puzzle game.
Lovely puzzler with a nice color theme and satisfying gameplay. Really like the retro style of it.
Best of luck!
Great game! I really liked it and it was really easy to get a hold of the mechanics, I really hope that you make more levels sometime soon!
Great work, the concept was very strong, and the visuals are great. FYI the Mac build doesn't work
Thanks for the feedback! Could you tell me more of what happens to the Mac build? I have no way to test it but maybe knowing the problem I can find a solution later.
The executable isn't set to be executable, but then when you get that set, mac's security system will not allow it to open
cool like the color pallet you used
I love the retro computer theme, sometimes there were corridors and blocks that I didn't use and I'm not sure if I just found a second solution or if they were red herrings but they put me off track to the solution sometimes. Hopefully we get to play more levels with extra elements like locks and keys or push-able blocks some time. :D
Ooooh, I like puzzle games ! It's very interesting, and I can really see the potential where you could have way more mecanism to interact with your control panel and have complex systems in the field.
Great game !
Thanks for the feedback! I did plan out some different systems initially, but having 48 hours I had to reduce it to accomplish a more polished game.
Fun game, the puzzles required me to take a break to actually solve them (I got puzzleblock)
Great game was a lot of fun! Visuals are nice and the game plays very nice itself. Very neat idea and definitely shows potential! :)
