How does your game fit the theme?
It's like Snake, except you play as the Pellet. Additionally, the role of the snake as an enemy and friend are reversed, as not only is it a threat, but it is also your only defense against other enemies.

Oh, it's a really fun game. With increasing levels and multiple ways of dealing with enemies it looks polished and quite complex for a 48 hour game. The music is great too :)

Wow. This game is amazing. You took the concept of reverse snake and made it into a bullet hell management game where you use your enemy to disable other enemies by luring and escaping the jaws of death by a hair. Incredible design.  The difficulty is spot on and each level bringing new surprises and enemies leaves me wanting nothing. The music is a bop and the sprites are very well polished. I can see this game easily ranking among the top. Well done!

Thanks so much for the kind comments!

Amazing game, so many mechanics are done in such a short period of time. We too made a snake game, but it's more of a puzzle, than a bullet hell

Fun game! Nice work! The game is fun and well polished! GG!

Fun idea, the art is simple and clean, I really like the ramping up of the elements, good design, pretty fun game.

I had reverse snake as an idea in the first hrs of the jam. But adding extra enemies that you use the snake to clear is what really make this. Super clever! And more and more elements just keep on coming, adding variety and keeping the gameplay fresh.

It is super challening, but it kept me playing as I wanted to get to lvl 15. I managed to get to lvl 15, but died shortly after :(

Really great game! I love the art style and colors. I can tell there was a lot of attention to detail put into every facet. The gameplay is pretty engaging as well.

yo, love the idea that you need to manipulate snake into eating your other enemies.

Awesome work! Lots of fun and super polished :)

Very good game! A bit different approach to mine and I like the additions you made. Sometimes the snake is almost more of a friend then the pray :D

I got to level 13!

Challenging game and definitely a bullet hell if the bugs keep spawning XD

I like your take on the snake I also based my idea on snake but had a completely different game!

I really like the different bug varieties and difficulty ramp up as you get to higher levels.

Amazing art too!

I had a fun time playing the game great work :)

This was super fun! I too love the extra challenges each level brings, and how consistent the art stays. Current highscore is 2245, but I will be sure to come back to this :D

Very nice game!! I am really impressed by how many mechanics you got so polished in such a short time. I really enjoy the variety that is seen just as you start to get the hang of the current set of enemies and obstacles. I'd be interested to see how the game felt if something like 3 lives was implemented. I'd be curious if the game would feel as good as it does now with such a set up. Also, I loved the art and design, your game looks very nice!

Thank you for sharing!

Multiple lives is a great idea! Definitely going to add something like that after the jam ends. Thanks for playing!

Really really fun. Having the snake eat the bugs is a fantastic twist that really surprised me. Art is great, gameplay is very satisfying, strategy is surprisingly deep. Could definitely see this being made into a full game.

Very good concepts, lot of fun to play. No issues I can think of. Simple concepts like this are where it’s at.

Wow, this is really good! This has a lot of mechanics and enemies (much more than my reverse snake implementation), and their quantity does not drag down the quality. I really like the mechanic of the snake eating other enemies, which adds risk&reward to the game! Good job :)

I really like this, it seems very detailed (prob is). got to lvl 22

Developer(+1)

22!?!? Holy cow! :O

I don't think I managed to get that high in playtesting. Geez, that's impressive.

Are you serious? it wasnt that hard; you probably just didnt playtest enough :D

Developer

Clearly you're just better at video games than I am. :)
