This is simply awesome - great idea, really well executed! At first I thought it was too easy, but when I figured out the parry / score multiplier mechanic I was hooked! 5/5 from me!

This is actually brilliant! So simple but so fun, and the art is great! especially the poses when you correctly block a punch haha
One of my favorites so far! It's a simple concept, but you executed it really nicely. Feels fun to play and the audio and visuals give some great feedback to your inputs. It feels to me like something that could be made into a fun rhythm game. Nice work!
This game is pretty great! Parrying is awesome, feels good to get a combo going, and sufficiently disheartening to misread the boxer and go in the wrong direction. Very well put together, 10/10 would box again.

Well combined 2D pixel art with 3D background. Voice acting is good and it serves the gameplay (that you can hear what's the next attack). Instead of avoiding boxer's attacks (that would be generic) you made it so that you make sure he lands them and adding some juice with that parrying mechanic.

These boxers lack motivation smh. They need a good punching bag. Def one of the more amusing games ive seen, I really enjoyed the simplicity in the mechanics and how things quickly speed up. I kept chasing my previous score trying to surpass it. The dialogue is also very funny, and presentation wise the game looks fantastic. More than anything though, I think you nailed the juice, who knew getting punched could feel so satisfying. My only feedback, is I would love for more audio lines in a later update. Thank you for making the best punching bag simulator.

Amazing entry. The increasing speed of the punches created a great challenge and kept me hooked on trying to beat my high score. Would've been nice to hear more variety in the voice lines. The graphics were my favorite part. Overall great game!

Currently, it doesn’t go back up, so you can only miss 3 times before the game ends.
A great blend of 2D and 3D! Loved the graphics. This really took me back to my younger days playing super punch-out on the SNES. Lovely game.
Very cool entry, well done! It was difficult to find the timing for perfect parries, maybe an additional effect right at that time would have helped, but once I got it it was super satisfying!

Ok Ok, this game is an easy top tier. It's simple but you don't feel like it needs a lot more, ESPECIALLY since it's a jam game. I like the art, it's really great (reminds me alot about punch out) but more than that i like the feel it gives, you really feel good every time you get a perfect parry.
I really hope that you update this game after the jam is over. I could definitely see more boxers added that use different styles of boxing which would force you to switch up your playstyle like for example if you fought against a slugger you would need to do parry every attack or you'd get blown of the chain.

Hahaha, this game is amazing and so fun!
Everything, from the art-style, to the voice-acting, to the punching bag when you parry, to the self-image of the punching bag. So extremely fun and well polished! The only thing I'd like to suggest for a potential improvement/ motivator for the player is that, if the boxer misses and loses Drive, then perhaps hitting the punching bag again could increase it slightly?
