Got to floor 11! Nicely done, wish I could move things after placing them though instead of them being locked in and starting the player on the last one. Love the sprite for the bigger slime haha

This is a really fun game. From core idea to presentation! I did get stuck on level 5 when the card I was placing disappeared thus I could not start the room =\
So much fun in just ten megabytes! I have seen variants of this interpretation of the theme where u are the dungeon trying to stop the player. But this is the first I've seen where you are the dungeon and still trying to help the player. Well done!
Good job! I didn't notice any problems, except the card bug. Art looking good, sounds fitting. Creativity and presentation can be improved.
This is a pretty interesting idea. I really wanna see an expansion on this. Could make a neat game.
The concept is really great. It looks like a very polished game for being a 48 hrs game!
Mechanics wise is good, also the difficulty is well measured. I guess the only thing I would improve is the music, but I totally understand the struggle with it for a jam that has a short amount of time.
Nice!
Really fun game!! I got to floor 12, but then I accidentally made a card disappear by clicking it off the bounds. Anyways, this is easily one of the best entries I've seen in this jam so far! Keep going, I'd definitely be interested to see a full post-jam version!
Very fun game. The idea is really unique and it has a very nice feel and flow to it. It just feels easy and intuitive to play, but requires thinking and strategy. I immediately understood what I had to do and it was nice to be able to hover over the different dungeon "cards" to read up the instructions when needed. Definitely one of my favorite pics in this jam. Also visually it looks good and I loved the trailer!
I think overall, a solid take on the dungeon idea, but in this instance, the player plays as the dungeon master trying to help the hero. I have played till floor 15, didn't get to reach floor 20 and above :(
Enjoyment wise, I think it requires strategically placing down monsters and other assets like health potions and coins. I really like how fast pace the game is after I put down these assets and the game scales in difficulty overtime, with GIGA SLIME GUY. The game really relies and based itself on RNG, and randomly generated levels. Would love to see some sort of unique level design, as like a milestone or challenge in a way. Like level 5, you're given specific units and the map contains lava. To make the game perhaps much more interesting and challenging.
Initially I find it very difficult to progress further as I can't play far in the game (I was till floor 3) due to the bug where if you placed down the card at a specific spots (example is right between the UI and the map, the card disappears and the game just get stuck there, with no way of moving forward. Implementing a restart button will be ideal.
I think the game really made a solid approach of this idea, compared to other similar dungeon games. I feel this game can have a lot of replayability and more room for content, like different enemies, traps, potions, weapons, etc. Very good take on the idea. I just wish there is an ending for being a good dungeon master as it does get quite repetitive at the end, of just trying to make sure the Hero survives and making it easier for the Hero. An ending to the game feels good.
Presentation wise I think it's very good. I think the art assets really represents the items very well and as what they are, although it does feel very generic to me (maybe cause it is a dungeon game). I definitely love the concept art as The GOOD DUNGEON MASTER and I love the art for GIGA SLIME. I think the music is good too, although there's not much that can be done with that XD
Overall a very good submission! Would play more of the game if the bugs in the game gets fixed!
I really thank you for your detailed feedbacks You give us a lot of important thinks to thing about.
Bugs apart, we have to improve the gameplay so it fells like less RNG and more strategic, and add a lot of content to increase variety. I really wanted to give ad end for the demo, but we had no time :(
This post will be in our feedback list for future implementations. Thx again bro, your help was really appreciated!!!
I really like the idea of this game and of the reversed role! I like that you have to create a strategy before moving so you always have to think ahead, and every level gets a bit more difficult given the new enemies and dungeon obstacles. The enemies are well thought out, I feel you can improve the complexity of the game even more in the future, for example, the perks the Hero gets as well (other than the sword). I hope you get to fix the bugs the game has and maybe create a little more variety overall so it doesn't get too repetitive, other than that the game is very good!
Very fun concept that has a lot of strategy to it. I like the interactions between enemies, especially using the bomb enemy to blow up surrounding ones, which feels very powerful. I think that the coins are somewhat useless at the moment, since they don't contribute to much and I don't think there's a reason to have the player move to one area of the screen necessarily. A cool mechanic for the coin would be a shop where the player can buy certain cards with their collected coins (maybe even some shop-exclusive cards). The cards all still feel very balanced and enjoyable to use, card placement is the only thing I would improve. There's definitely a lot you can do with this idea if you are to continue this post-jam. Great work!
Super cool game! Loved the art and the card game aspect
Hahaha, it feels like playing games with my own child, it's fun, a very unique experience, I love it!
