very cool game! i am not good at it lol
Adorable style and excellent use of the theme in using scale in both senses! Amazing job! :)
This is a cute little game. I love the pixel artwork in a 3d setting. I sadly couldn't make it to the top (I'm not that good), but I had a lot of fun. 🙂
This is cute and a good concept, but having every platform be a collapsing platform even from the word go is kinda too stressful, especially while trying to get the hang of an unusual control scheme. If only some of the platforms were collapsing and you would know which ones before you got to them, this could be a nice cozy game.
Woow, awesome pixel art style and color palette! Really creative take on the theme! Reminds us of Fezz. Amazing page for the game as well!!! Awesome job!
I love the artwork! The game was hard at first, but then I got it and it turned out super fun to play. Such a creative concept for the "built to scale" theme!
Really nice game concept !!! I think the combination of concept and gameplay play very nicely, super impressive.
I never really liked those games where there's multiple jump lenghts and you have to choose the right one otherwise you fall down. This game is that but on LSD, my fingers almost died when I reached the 800 mark. I do find the different designs nice like the buff mouse as the biggest and the accurate mouse as the smallest. I also do appreciate the 2D in 3D thing as well !
What a cute and fun game! I was surprised when it ended at the top of the tower, I think an endless mode for this would be pretty darn addicting. I definitely like a cheesy ending though
we were definitely planning on an endless mode but ran out of time! Glad you enjoyed our game ^^
Finally got the chance to try this. This is absolutely adorable! The gameplay is very addicting haha. And I love the fact that the tower is rotating rather than on a purely 2D or 3D surface. I think it took me some tries to figure out that the small mouse jumper further whereas the larger jumped closer (I think I instinctively thought of the opposite), but it does makes sense that lighter=further. I do wish I could remap the controls since I wasn't super used to jkl and often had to recheck the keyboard to make sure I was pressing the right thing. Overall, I think it's a fantastical game.
Scale affecting jump distance is very clever, not to mention the visuals are gorgeous!
I had a difficult time judging some of the jumps. I couldn't tell why - the Medium Mouse-Big Mouse gap difference is very similar... maybe that could be it? But then I realized... the platforms are all different sizes. So when you're jumping on the plank that stick out of the wall, it's easy to judge the exact distance you have to jump... but for the longer platforms, the Medium Mouse jumps only slightly past where the platform ends. It seems like the longer platform approximately covers the Big and Medium Mouse jump distances, but it doesn't.
All in all, a nice title! Very stylishly illustrated. A+!
Absolutely amazıng, would be awesome ıf there ıs are some obstacles and more story lıne ıf a project ıs meant to be contınued. Defınıtely a sımple but a very easy to play and fun gam.
This is really well polished, the only issue I found is when the big mouse intersects the platforms above him. The art style is done really well and the blend between 2d and 3d works great here. I just wish there was some new mechanic, like moving obstacles or something like that to spice things up a bit.
Great artwork and very cool implementation of the mechanics!
This game oozes with style! Loved the cheese puns! The mixed 2D/3D elements looked really grate, and all the background art was super charming. I thought there might be more abilities that depended on the sizes (mostly because of “Sharp”’s beefy arms) but the platforming gameplay was still very satisfying. A progress indicator would have been nice to know how close I got to winning, but alas, I will never know (I kept screwing up the sizes).
Glad you enjoyed it! The win state is at about 1000 points, once you get to the darker sky background :)
Oh man, I was actually pretty close. Might have to try again :)
its a well polished game with nice art, although i failed to get mousebert the mythical cheese i enjoyed the unique idea of scaling the tower with different forms. but the tower crumbled away too fast
in only 96 hours?! incredible work, love the 3D element
This is ADORABLE. And I hated how many times I had to listen to *checks notes* Mousebert die. Congrats on finishing your game!
The core idea is really simple. Not including a jump button and just making it a simple left/right was a great choice. Beautiful sprites, and mix of 2d pixel and 3d background gave the game a clean and whimsical vibe. Nicely done.
For me, the game was super difficult because of the controls. J/K/L is super unintuitive, as it doesn't follow the standard WASD, and has no clear link between size other than hoping the player associates the order from left to right. I had a really difficult time keeping that straight and didn't often make it more than 10 moves before hitting the wrong key. And the pressure to keep moving and go quickly just isn't my style. I can't think of a better solution off the top of my head, either though. Maybe ASD for the sizes and mouse click left/right to jump? Or Q/E to increase/decrease size, make the transformation super snappy, and difficulty can ramp from single step transformation jumps to more frequent double step transformation?
This is still a super cool project. Keep making games! Especially cute ones with puns and mouse wizards <3
Loved the mechanics and the art! Really fun to play.
