woah so polished! Really cute game- I got stuck with the sizes of the 3 coloured dudes but saw you commented that the text was wrong. Really enjoy this project, would love to see it evolve into something!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
Damn this has a lot of style!
The most fun example I've seen so far of scale switching mechanics!
Looks great, sounds great!
Thank you very much, I'm pleased to hear that you found the mechanics fun!
AHHHHH SPIDERS Ok, now that I chilled. I loved that. It is another example of how semplicity is always the right way for making a good jam game!
Thank you, and sorry for the spiders haha
I believe game jams are a good opportunity for making simple but polished games. I enjoyed making it, so I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!
So much style! An awesome concept and mechanic. The game sadly didn't continue when resizing the green and blue guys :(
Thank you so much!
For the green and blue guys puzzle, it's a mistake on my part. I wrote "make Green smaller" instead of "make Red smaller" in the instructions.
This is such a charming and clever game. The mechanics were really cool and the game has so much polish. Well done!
Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanics and the polish.
I have no negatives. perfect entry
Wow thank you, it really means a lot!
Awesome concept and execution. Loving the jazz soundtrack!
Thank you, I'm glad you appreciate it!
Sweet style and characters. Loved the jokes, they were a little predictible but still!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you loved the experience!
I enjoyed this quirky little puzzle game!
The presentation is great and the story adds a nice touch to the game.
The puzzle are a bit simplistic but still enjoyable (the humor helps!). I’m wondering if the three pockets were really necessary, maybe just having the swap pockets on top would have been enough and still keep the puzzles interesting (and would make the interface easier to navigate). I think the “use the pockets to move stuff around” is not particularly interesting. Instead, the size swap mechanic is quite intriguing and has some potential!
Thanks!
You're right, that's a perfect suggestion for UI improvement, it makes a lot of sense!
I agree that the most interesting part of the game is the size swap, but I wanted to introduce the different mechanics bit by bit, so it meant a lot of "just using the pockets to carry stuff" at the beginning.
Thanks for the criticism, you make a lot of valid points, it's really appreciated!
he's such a professional, absolutely loved it!
Thanks, I'm glad you loved it!
a game with great atmosphere! loved the artstyle
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the artstyle and the atmosphere!
I loved this! The style, the puzzles, the characters. It has so much charm and character and was a really cool exploration of the theme. I will admit with the ending cutscene I expected it to be leading up to a puzzle with all the rooms involved like a sort of boss final puzzle which I thought could've been fun, but even so as a whole this was very fun. Thanks for making it!
Thanks!
Well I agree with you. In fact I originally planned for this ending cutscene to be a puzzle where you just have to pocket everything, yeah like a gag final boss. But it required me to spend more time both in programming and in making art assets, so just I decided to cut it to be sure I could finish the game and didn't spend too much time on the ending.
v cool! artstyle is very pretty
Thank you, it's nice hearing that!
Very big brain idea. Love the artstyle and humor
Haha thank you for calling my idea big brain.
Wow loved the style, and really interesting puzzles
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
That was quite clever! I liked the more freeform design in the later puzzles; it felt like the mechanic was explored to its potential. Also, the art and character design is charming!
The audio is a smidgen loud; it regularly peaks above +0.0 dB.
Fantastic! Great work!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and for the compliments!
I must admit I didn't pay attention to the mixing of the sound, sorry if that was a bit loud.
The style is wondrous, the puzzles were creative, though a bit simple. I think the only major issue I had was with the brothers level.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the visuals and the puzzles!
I prefered to keep them on the simpler side for comprehension purposes, but I also wish I had made more difficult ones too.
And yeah the brothers level...
I love that game. I completed all levels and it was really fun to play it. Sadly, I had a problem in a level with the three brothers. It was a little bit confusing, but I managed to pass it. Overall, I enjoyed playing that game and I'm waiting for more levels!!! Are you guys planning to extend it? 😃
Sorry for the level with the three brothers. A small confusion on my end between the word "red" and green" :)
Thank you for your kind comment.
Making new puzzles is quick and I think I can push the concept even further for more difficult puzzles but I don't currently plan to extend it.
Very charming game! It was a clever concept, with good puzzles, and apart from the one pointed out below, no real errors. Very impressive for the time limit, well done!
Thank you so much, it means a lot!
for the first three brothers level, instructions say make Green the smallest, but it should be Red.
Ah you're right! Thanks for pointing it out, I should have double checked.
no problem! just letting you know :)
yup
