Very clever ideas introduced in a sensible manner with rising difficulty. Easy to understand, hard to solve - basically what all puzzle games should be.

I'm not a fan of turrets/bullets mechanic at all (I'm not saying that it's a bad mechanic, just one I didn't enjoy as much as others), but that's because I enjoy my puzzle games in a more relaxed fashion.

Some early levels with blue no-scale zones were cool, but gave out the solution too much in the way the normal path was carved :D So it was just a matter of following the dark path and scale along the way :)

(I was also getting slight Baba Is You vibes from the graphics :))

This is really fun, the mechanics work really well and there are a lot of levels to enjoy! Only thing that i would change is having the bullets kill the player. The challenge should be figuring out the puzzles, not running away from bullets.

This does not look and feel like it was made within 96 hours. Your work is marvelous!

Everything about it. I can already see it in one of the featured games.

You sir, have my respect.

That was really good!

Although the puzzles having you walk through the (rather erratic at times) path of the missiles felt somewhat annoying. Like, I am trying to solve a puzzle here and suddenly I need to be dodging a bouncing bullet every 5 seconds..

Good job! Simple gameplay with so many creative levels

Really cool game love the mechanics, awesome job!

Love the puzzles. Feels like the player lives in photoshop or something like that XD

Cool idea for a puzzle game! Got stuck in a few places but i like that there's a lot of room for creativity!

This definitely could see a larger release. I got massive Baba is You vibes its so polished! Good work!

You could release it on steam today and I’d buy it.

Very cool game, only real notes I have is that the four quarters of the block should be tinted differently to show which one will scale what, since it can be hard to tell if it's gonna go forwards or backwards. Pretty neat, though.

Yes. This one is 110% getting showcased in Mark's video. The polish is top notch. You're amazing, good job!

This is exactly the unique one of a kind of puzzle game I expected from the gmtk game jam. Well done!

Incredible job. Such a great puzzle game and it fits the prompt so nicely. I fully expect to see this in the video at the end of the jam!

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate the positivity!

Solid puzzle and game. The rocket mechanic feels like a game of its own with the ray where you need to dodge it while scaling the boxes. Great stuff!

can’t think of anything in this game that isn’t great I especially like the art and small details like the rocket tower ray! really cool

Brilliant concept that I haven't seen before, definitely nailed the brief. The puzzles and the polish is great too. At first the style reminded me of Baba is You but with free movement, I knew I was in for a treat.

Glad you enjoyed!

a great game in every aspect!

Great job! Amazed at how many levels you fit in the game! All the puzzles are very clever. I found myself occasionally confused about why an object would also move when I scaled it sometimes but not all the time.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! The scaling depends on your position relative to the center of the object you're trying to scale. If you cross the halfway point of the side you're trying to compress, it will switch up, so you'll continue to stretch the other half instead. This makes it seem like the object is moving.
I hope this helps and thanks again!
