How does your game fit the theme?
In line with the jam’s theme, “Built To Scale,” I aimed to create the tiniest survival game possible. I chose the world of microorganisms as my inspiration, and fittingly, the main enemy in this game is a cellular automaton that relentlessly chases you around the level. Here is a quick description of What is a Cellular Automaton is: A cellular automaton is a simple model used to simulate complex systems. Imagine a grid made up of cells, where each cell can be in one of several states (like on or off). The state of each cell changes over time according to a set of rules. In the case of my game the rules of each cell are determined by the position of the player. This creates an illusion of the automaton intelligently changing the player around.

This is a super fun gameplay loop! Love the goop enemy + different upgrades, had me playing for a while. I like the concept of being on a finger, but I don't think it was very well integrated into the gameplay; feels like you could switch out the background and not be able to tell the game has anything to do with scale. The intro animation was super cool, though! Great game overall!

Damn such a good game with great polish. Absolutly amazing and addictive gameplay. Great work for only a one man project!

Wonderfully executed! I especially loved the blob—it was such a cool touch. Truly amazing work for a solo dev!

Such a good idea, it feels suuuuper hard but I like it, I'm impressed with the number of power ups you were able ton integrate (we also made a vampire survivors like and god knows we wouldn't put as much), even more impressive for a one person team, congrats !

one of the coolest games I've played from this jam, really nice job with the intro cutscene, and the difficulty curve felt very fair when trying to figure things out! Well Done!!!!

Great fun! It looks like you took some queues from Vampire Survivor, which is a totally fine inspiration to have as I've spent many hours there as well ;). Works great, looks great, plays great. What else is there to say? :D

Pure and polished gameplay + beautiful visual style = perfect game

Wow, really good and well polished game, nice and simple tutorial at the start of the game, many power-ups

Really cool! The enemy swarm was a fun opponent. Simple visual. Upgrades feel fun. The only issues I noticed were being able to push rewards out of bounds and being able to wall yourself in completely so you couldn't lose.

I really liked the weapons. I feel like some of these weapons are so creative that they would deserve a game on them!

Great gameplay and fitting, nice-looking visuals.

Great work with the enemy AI.

I had a blast! Not much to critique.

Very satisfying game and the graphics are nice.

I'd agree with Diamond32 about the building mechanic. It's unfitting for you to gave to think about building and erasing walls while trying to avoid your untimely demise.

Whole idea of playing on the finger was actually amazing! It was  satisfying cute little game. I enjoyed it.

The only thing I would suggest is making walls disappear after some time (or last wall disappears if you put one more than you can). Because when you run and build it is sometimes a bit inconvenient to move mouse back and try to find walls to erase to get few additional blocks. That would also restrict player from just building walls and farming exp (although not sure about that since i liked to block myself and just farm for a bit :D) But these are just a small things.

Overall, It was great game, felt polished and I am looking forward for more content if the future!

I like the intro transition, and the game is very well executed! No real critiques from me, this is a great take on the genre!

This is very clean executed, I really like the way the looks and feels! Good job guys, very well done!

The cellular automata chasing you is super slick. On thing though, with all the mines, cursor and other dots being left around it’s pretty easy to lose track of the player. All the upgrades are super fun and it feels great to be unlocking stuff as you go.

Great idea and a good game! I spent quite a bit of time trying to help this person keep their finger clean, hahaha. Very cool, congrats!
