The art is so cute! I love the idea of having other ways to gather food such as Ant Hill attacks. I find myself investing on Sciantists and Armies much more. It's nice that you can use the spacebar for alternative controls but if you have mouse with triple tap trigger its OP!

Ant Colonies are "Built to Scale" in that more ants means faster progress. Ants are also related to scale since they are tiny, but through the growth of a colony, they can build themselves to scale enemies

Not the biggest Idle game fan but this was nice! Cool to see the new enemy bugs as they spawned and as always the dopamine hit for seeing numbers go up was nice. Good job!
Fun idle game with great graphics. Really enjoyed that one. Balance is not perfect but still that I had tone of fun playing it. Great work!
Art is cute and clicker games are always tried and true! (also totally missed the chance to call one of the soldiers a lieten-ant hahaha ok i'll stop) Any feedback I had was already mentioned in other comments, but just to mention it:
- Early game is definitely a bit slow, lots of clicking for not much reward early.
- I think locking later game options until you've progressed more would make the curve overall feel more satisfying. Having some enemies spawn while I'm still making less than a food a second with no army made the curve feel a bit weird to start out.
I love idle clickers ever since cookie clicker came out, they’re so satisfying! Yours is great, and lovely visuals, congrats!!
Its a good idle game, very traditional to the genre, puns are fun :D Good work for 4 days in terms of content! I feel like the early game could scale a little faster though
The ants are so cute! Super casual, fun game. I love the art style. Great work!
the ant is cute, and music is relaxing :)
the pace feels slow, need some more balance, took me VERY LONG to buy something not worker ant.
Cute idle game, the starting is very slow though, maybe add a bit more animations / interactions with the ants ?
Cool game overall!
very cute clicker! a bit more balancing on the prices and this game could be real solid
Well-made clicker, though the upgrade costs might make you feel like you’re stuck in an ant-tagonizing cycle of spending
This is addicting to play (as all clicker games are)! I love the ant portraits and art style too.
It would be great to see this game with expanded mechanics. I feel like the game would benefit from the sources being buffed since it's slow to gain food at the start. I figured out that I can cheat the game with a really fast autoclicker though, so I was able to get hundreds of food a second really quickly - you will probably want to prevent that in an update after the jam voting.
Overall though, nice job for the jam!
Hiya chief, thanks for the comments on Scale E. Lizard's bizz!
On a more serious note, nice take on the idle clicker, I really like the theme of your game and your puns.
Slight constructive design notes here just to push your game to the next level;
abbreviations for the huge amount like 20K or 10M would make it way easier to read;
classifying your upgrades in different categories tabs plus making some even more hidden to unlock by buying cheaper ones first would ease on the usage of the screen (and on the scrollbar, damn thing broken in unity haha);
and finally, your artwork is great, put it even more in the design of the game screen and UI!
Nice work!
Really cool vibes with those ants! Would love to see this game expanded with some uniques mechanics!
I like this game because I am a colonizer (i am not. my country was colonized on 4 searate occasions on the contrary)
