Fun to play! I somehow maxed everything in second wave and just stood on one spot waiting for them to get to me haha :D I guess this needs to be fixed. I didn't really see the theme use but it was fun

Every wave, the player's stats get randomised. However, the player can take a chance by spending score to influence the randomiser, at the cost of a harder wave next round. It's a gamble!

Nice simple game that played really well! I would also like to see a little more progression, but I wouldn't expect that to be perfect from the get-go with a student submitted game jam game. You should be proud of this!
Fun game! Once I maxed out my stats, I didn't know where the game was going - hopefully you can add continuation and let the player make themselves even more OP after the Jam. Overall though, great job!
Fun, but also because I found an easy win strategy: Since the opponents always shoot straight down, just buy a little health and a lot of firepower, then continuously shoot up to create a column where there are less bullets, picking off the ones on the other side one by one. If even this gets hard, just move to one of the sides of the screen, so they can even only come at you from one direction.
I loved playing this game. Its really good. Controls are good.
But it is not matching the theme.
the controls feel good, i dont understand what the game has to do with the theme though,
the difficulty curve was wierd too, i upgraded everything to max level on stage 3, and sweeped through the game, and wave 20 left me completely chanceless, to the point where i doubt its possible
Hey! I like the concept of the game and I think this could really work well if developed further. A few things I noticed:
- it was pretty easy to upgrade everything to the max in lvl 5 and then I breezed through the levels (and died in wave 20)
- may be fixed with less points / more enemy varieties?

It did feel that bullets were basically unavoidable (maybe I’m just not too good at it) - but that did push me to experiment more with spending score / influencing the randomiser!
I really like the balancing! It's like you can control the difficulty without there being an actual difficulty setting
Fun idea, you did a good job of making the bullet hell manageable when planned properly
