Clever idea for a game with the theme.
Loved it <3
Great Work!
Very creative idea and the Game Instructions were Clear. Really enjoyed while playing it but, I don't think I have a Musical Ears tho :)
Thanks for the feedback and giving it a try!
It's unique and educational. Great work. it's pity that I'm not a music person.
This concept is really cool ! It's the kind of game that could be used to teach rhythm and basics of DAWs to people ! It's also pretty well made, even though the sound of some instruments are a bit too aggressive to my taste, which makes long playthrough a bit tiring. I think it could be expanded with more instruments, or multiple choice of sounds for each instrument to allow the player to customize his tune. Well done !
Thanks a lot! I hard agree with the sounds, I find them to be too aggressive as well, especially on unbalanced headphones/speakers. Sadly (and stupidly) I only checked how things sounded on standard hardware after it was released. Future versions will certainly have better sounds and different rhythms will likely incorporate different unique sounds!
Neat game. Nearly got all the way through it, The final one was very hard. Cool game
Hehe yeah it's certainly a ramp-up in difficulty ;). Honestly I designed the levels expecting most people would get bored by level 3, it's been very (positively) surprising to learn people are getting all the way to level 6! Thanks for playing!
Very cool entry! Original and fun to play, and really a breath of fresh air. Well done!
I'm so glad I stuck at playing this game and I would recommend everyone to do so! At first, I thought it was impossible. But then... do you know what? I think this game gave me a new skill! It genuinely taught me something and was fun! Such a great achievement for a Jam! Thank you!
I absolutely love reading comments like this! Part of my hope is that something like this might be a more intuitive way to teach people with no prior musical training a way of thinking about rhythm and time. Obviously it needs work, but I'm glad part of that is coming through. Happy to read you enjoyed yourself, and thank you for your time and feedback :)
That's a very original and creative take on the theme, even if a bit stretching it, the only musical game I've seen among many other entries. I quite enjoyed my time with it, really sparked my "wanna-be musician" side, haha. I love that you can actually represent same beats with different dice, just like with real time signatures, and the game accepts it as being right. The graphics are a bit of a downside, but it doesn't take away from the fantastic experience.
Thanks for the honest feedback! Glad you were able to have fun with the game. Embrace the "wanna-be a musician" side ;)
Really cool music game, I love how you can easily create nice beats with triplets and quintuplets! Really cool Idea and very fun, good job!
Unique take on the theme, I love it! Nice presentation, and the tutorial phases and dificulty curve are really well settled! Good job!
Glad you enjoyed it; thanks so much for the feedback :)
Bro. Imagine how happy I was playing this game, as a drummer and as a fellow Godot dev. This is beautiful dude, you nailed it completely, this is ultra creative, super fun, I would sugest caring a little more for presentation if you plan to further update this game, like, text based tutorials are dead, the thing now is slowly presenting mechanics via gameplay. But the rest is perfect to me, solid 5 star fun and creative.
I'm a fellow drummer as well ;). Thanks so much for your feedback, I think you nailed it with text-based tutorials being dead. I was just able to watch someone who has no musical or gaming background play and it was immediately apparent that she had no interest in reading the instructions nor using (because she didn't have) conventional counting strategies to figure things out like eighth note rest into eighth note hit even though being able to clearly notice something was wrong. A tutorial with demonstrations for everything seems 100% required after that. I do want to keep text for story elements I'm hashing out, but yeah instructions are dead haha
Pretty similar to how we wrote music for our game :D The game is awesome - great job!
Really cool game! There's so much complexity that's presented in a simple and intuitive way. This is a really interesting concept and I had a lot of fun playing! Great job!
Thanks for the feedback; I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Man, I was not expecting someone to make a full-blown music game for this jam! What a cool interpretation of the theme, it was so much fun coming up with patterns on this dice-themed DAW
Glad you liked it :). And honestly I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull it off, I definitely skimped out on some sleep this jam :X
LOL it happens, at least you made something really cool out of it!
nice way to include randomness in a "fruity loops" game. Good job!
Super fun game, and really creative! I never thought my quintuplet practice over the years would come in handy in a game jam game :)
I wasn’t sure if there was a faster way to enter in dice, like if I needed multiple 3s in a row or to remove a lot of pips there was a lot of repetitive clicking. It would be cool if you can click and drag over multiple pips to toggle them all at once or something like that. That’s really my only nitpick, great job!
Also, Godot gang 💪💪💪💪
Grinding out the u-ni-ver-si-ty pays off eventually ;)
I also found myself wanting a copy/paste mechanic especially in the quintuplet hat level. Certainly something I'll add to a post-jam version, but I didn't want to push my sketchy UI code too far haha.

This is a very creative take on the theme! The freestyle mode was a lot of fun to play with, good job!
Glad you enjoyed it and also glad you had fun playing around in freestyle!
This is really cool! Haven't played anything like this before. I'm terrible at music so I had trouble deciphering the individual sounds, but I still had a ton of fun playing it! Really different take on the theme. Well done and congrats on submitting!
Thanks a lot for your feedback! Hopefully even with being terrible at music you were able to make some progress :) I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you think could be improved to make the game more accessible if you'd like to share!
This game is awesome. Original approach to the theme.
This is so cool!!! I love trying to match the beat and the beats are so satisfying. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the feedback :)
