So cool - love the aesthetic, especially the tiles which I just find really appealing. It's been pointed out elsewhere in the comments, but the use of the tower rather than a simple lives counter is wonderful and adds a lot of character.

Gameplay is fun and well balanced, with plenty of strategy once the holes start appearing. It escalates nicely in difficulty too.

Managed to get a highscore of 12

Thank you. Nice to hear it. Great score!

First of all, great presentation. Just like Force Reboot, the usage of pixel art in a 3D environment here is superbly implemented.

The idea behind the main mechanic is interesting, but I wasn't a big fan of the execution, mainly because for the longest time, I thought the die face causing damage was the top one, not the bottom one. Considering I can't quite see any of the faces except for the top one and the front one, controlling which one hits the target was a bit finnicky.

Also, as every push causes a roll, the distance between the last target and the next one becomes the main deciding factor on whether I survive or not. Yes, I could manipulate its position to get the 6-face in there, but considering every time I move the tile becomes weaker, I don't feel very encouraged to do so - is it really worth to damage so many tiles just to get the perfect face?

Still, I mostly had fun with this game, even with these problems. Like some here have also said, turning health into physical, actual levels was a pretty smart idea, and one that was probably not trivial to implement. So basically, the main idea and the presentation were well developed, but some of the game design choices were questionable. Considering this jam only lasts 48h, it's still a pretty good result.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for this feedback! Very helpful. Yeap, this roll manipulating thing is a big problem. I've got some ideas how to fix it but unfortunately it's 48h and I didn't have the time to impliment it.

Very nice entry! 💙🖤 I've seen a couple ideas similar to this one but the addition of holes in levels spawned by too many steps and crushing through one level to the next makes it really unique and fun to play. Also the art is great. Overall amazing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It was really important for me to create something unique in someway. I'm glad I made it. It actually was my first GameJam :)

Really cool game! I like that it's different from a lot of the 'move the dice to the right square' puzzle games i've scene. I also really love that the difficulty is kinda self-imposed with the falling platforms. All around, a really well delivered game!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad that this concept turns out a bit different from another match-side games!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing! I really like the art, sounds, and chilling gameplay!

Developer

Thank you!

This rocks, at first  I thought it was another match-the-side puzzle game but it was much more unique than that. Falling down the tower when you fail is a very cool visual alternative to a simple lives counter. Really nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you like it. At first I was thinking about creating math-the-side puzzle but after some testing I find out that this is too hard (especially with falling platforms) and I turn it into this one.

Submitted(+1)

I'm glad you changed what you were going for! It's cool and unique this way

Developer(+1)

Yeap. It's also more dynamic and fun to play like this.

Interesting take on the genre, nice blend of 2D with 3D, satisfying sounds. 10/10

Submitted(+1)

This looks really neat. I think it could do with some instructions though as I don't really know what I'm doing. could be a neat puzzle game if you made levels where you try to roll the dice into the square with a certain number on top

Developer(+1)

There's already a lot of puzzles like this. I tested it few times but it was really hard to get certain number with falling platform. But thank you for feedback!

The art is really awesome, but I think some SFX or music would make the game even better. The game was pretty hard, but still a really great job!

Developer

Thank you! Glad you like it!

Submitted(+2)

Fun game. I like the visuals a lot, good palette and 2d/3d mix is almost always a pleasure.

I think the instructions could be slightly clearer, since you seem to heal the platform instead of damaging it. I also first thought you had to land a specific side matching the number, but after getting a 10 I realized how it works.

Good job!

Developer(+1)

Yeap. I was running out of time and wasn't able to create better tutorial. Glad you like it!

It was pretty easy to get the gameplay , so nice job one that . the art is very cute too, the lack of music is very noticeable which is sad but there is so much u can do in 48h. Good job

Submitted(+1)

didn't quite understand the rules, but  just trying to move the dice alone was pretty fun

alltso, even though often used, i love the mix of 3d and flat sprites.

Good concept!

My hiscore is 10, a bit hard for me

Clever!
Love the 2.5D style!

I wish there were more stakes involved, but I genuinely love the juice in this game and its overall design.

Developer

Thank you! Actually the number that you need to get is increasing with your score so stakes is higher with higher score!

(+1)

Ah yes! I did notice that happens.

I feel I wanted some blockades or monsters chasing me,
but at the core of the gameplay, you are right.
You've ensured pure skill for mechanics as the stakes. It's good stuff!

Developer(+1)

Yeap! Some blocks would be great addition on second or third platforms. Great idea! Thank you.

Submitted(+1)

Cool puzzle-game !

Submitted(+1)

Really great game!

Submitted(+1)

Nice game, great job!

Submitted(+1)

love the 2d player sprite in the 3d environment, and the way you used the breaking blocks with the dice to create puzzles is a really unique take on the theme. overall really solid submission!

Developer

Thank you! Yeap, I really like this breaking blocks mechanic.

I really like the 2D sprite illin in this isometric reality. A fun concept, sticks to the theme well!

The presentation is absolutely wonderful

It's a bit hard to tell what number I will roll next because of the single camera angle

Yeap. I was thinking about few options how to show your next roll but unfortunately I didn't have the time to impliment these. Glad you like it!
