Love the cute arts! Quite balanced but the enemies are kinda repetitive. You can certainly make this a mini-rougelite by adding new powerups and classes. Overall good work!

really great idea & execution
The only negative was the spawning system only spawned 4 at a time so ended up just going with a balanced build and essentially going infinite
that said.. it is a really great concept & an awesome entry

I loved it <3 Good idea, good execution !! SFX are on point, really, and the concept, the feels...great! The controller felt a bit wanky a ttimes but it really didn't impact my playing at all!! Well done, take my stars!

neat game. Took a couple tries to get the dice to go on the stats properly but not a biggie. Good job!

Cool game idea

Such a cool game, would be cool if the arrows could pierce enemies to add some more tactics with the amount of ammo you give yourself

Good concept ! I liked the idea! Had a bit of a hard time putting the dices on the stats though

This is a nice use of the theme! The gameplay after that is  a little simplistic, but it looks really nice and works really well. Though I went over 21 by accident so many times.... at which point you might as well give up, no way you're gonna win anything anymore :(

Good game. More level variety would be nice

A really fun and unique take on the theme, incorporating dice with a black jack like rule set, all combined with stat building. I really enjoyed the strategy involved in the initial set up, i ended up thinking carefully about which stats i wanted to raise and what kind of wiggle room i had left on the remaining stat points. I think my only observation is some times putting a dice on a stat is unresponsive and takes multiple tries, but minor thing really. Overall, this was a fun concept, that felt well executed.

Cool concept! Wish the playing area could be bigger so you can kite the enemies more easily, and I thought the skulls were enemies too and wasted a bunch of ammo lol

I like the combination of dice and blackjack!

This game is so interesting! I add all my points to ammo at the first round, but it's too slow to dodge enemy, lol.

Good job!

Very Creative core design loop. Would be cool to see how far this idea could be taken outside of a game jam.

The core idea here is very fun and uses the theme nicely, however in practice I found it to have a few issues firstly the difficulty scaling feels a bit too spongy with more enemies that offer pretty much the same level of challenge. A greater variety of enemies would have been nice to see. Additionally the player doesn't scale accordingly meaning inevitably you will either settle for a low roll or break 21. Getting over the limit is basically a guaranteed loss, some way to better fight against the odds would be encouraging as it feels like one mistakenly greedy roll of the dice and its over.  When you do start over the lack of 'juice' with the menu buttons can have it being a bit of a slog back to square one.

I know that's a dense ramble of nitpicky feedback but I hope you understand I only have so much to say on account of the fact that I enjoyed your game! the presentation is cohesive and the core mechanics of the ammo/shooting system are very satisfying. This as great potential for iteration, great work!

nice game, the shooting and player movement feel great as all hell. Although the small play area and your stats being reset every round makes the game feel like it lacks progression since while the enemy count increases, the gameplay doesn't

Very cool concept. The only thing that I think could be better is how to present that you should grab the dice and move to the attributes. After I found out what I had to do I had much fun!

Great game. But if you get over 21, there will be no chances to pass the level

Submitted

I really liked the game. Gameplay is fun and has a lot of variety. The one thing I didn't like is if you go over 21 it's impossible to pass the level. So the risk when you are on high numbers is really just not worth it.

cool game idea but there is a bag that if i got over 21 in the rolls i cant retry to roll and i have refresh the window the its make the game be less fun. but other than that i love this game so mutch

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! That was actually intentional (pretty sure I explained it in the how to play but maybe not lol), basically it's there to add more risk to your rolling
