Reminds me of some of the games I used to play on our family PC back in the day. The water mechanic was interesting. Some of the levels used it in pretty interesting ways. Trying to think of any useful feedback but I'm coming up short.

Nice game with very well realized mechanics. If this was the mid 80s, this would have been a shareware hit. I love how our games share almost the same name, but differ so much. Good job!

I like the idea of combining a golf game with some randomness by changing the environment. Well done :)

Thanks for the feedback :)

Nice polished game, cool have been more challenging with non random par, as it is now it's too permissive. Good work !

Developer

Thanks for the input, sounds like you're quite good at Dicey Golf!

Very fun game! My only concern is that we do not really feel the theme in a cool way, but I enjoyed the level design and the music!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

This is pretty fun and addicting, and the art is pretty good :) But, i dont really know how the difficulty really effects gameplay

Developer

We need to work on that but glad you had fun!

Really cool game ! A minor thing to say is I had trouble spotting the ball and the flag.

If you have time, could you please play and rate my game ?

Fun game! You could improve the graphics and add some polish. ;))

Developer

Thanks! Time wasn't quite on our side but we have a lots of ideas to improve it, glad you had fun :)

What a fun little game :)
Right at the start that music hits like a SNES, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We are still humming the tune in our heads :D

I feel like the way the difficulty level of the game is decided is a bit like "You're either going to play this hole with obstacles, or like a normal golf game", which I don't like that much. When I roll a 1 it feels like I'm just playing a lamer version of the course. I think it would be better if each number had a different hazard, therefore making each roll feel like a different version of the course rather than an easier or harder version of said course.

That said, I still had a lot of fun with this game! It's a very fun golfing game, and apart from one time I shot the dice before the difficulty had rolled off the stage and had to reset, I had an all-round positive experience with it!

Developer

Thanks for the constructive feedback! If we had more time we would've loved to apply more hazards, we had a big list :) Glad you enjoyed it and had fun!

I think I shot the ball too far now it does not come back lol

I like that it looks like mario in a golf club

I liked the game! It was fun! Your choice of art is great!

BEST OF LUCK:)

P.S. Check out our game

Developer

Thank you! Equally liked yours :)

I played for 10 levels, and generic gold game is always fun!

And I dont quite understand what the roll before the game start means.

Developer

Thanks for playing through! The roll at the beginning indicates the par (number of shots you should complete the level in) and the second is difficulty level:

  • 1  = no water or spikes
  • 2 = water
  • 3 = water and spikes

We'll also update the page to make this clearer, thanks for the useful input :)

Fun! Interesting idea that turned out to be good, I liked the art style.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Lovely golf game, having such a good indicator allowed for some great shots. In my opinion the dice effects could've been a bit bigger cuz it rarely had any effect on how I chose to tackle the levels. Really well made art and music too!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, it's very helpful and we'll refine the levels to implement that after the jam!

Really fun and good concept! :) But I found a bug, I accidentally threw the ball out of the screen and it didn't come back.

Developer

Thank you for letting us know, glad you enjoyed it!

You're welcome! :)

Very nice! I enjoyed the game loop a lot and liked the idea that the level changed depending on difficulty, the levels were nicely put together. The camera felt a bit finicky, but overall the game was fun to play! :)

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback on the camera!

I really like the way you fit the theme by modifying the level after the dice roll. The game looks great however I think the golf hole (idk what it's called) sometimes wasn't visible enough.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :) We worked on the golf hole a little late but completely agree with your feedback!
