Great game! It was really fun figuring out how to use the dices in my favour, but the bossfights were a bit tedious. Either you let people more time to attack, or you reduce the HP bar, any of those could work. Anyways, I had a ton of fun playing this one despite that, so well done!
A very cool mechanic, great idea! However, the game seems to be pretty hard (I was playing on a very potato fps, so maybe that's why). Here are some reasons:
Other than that, it feels very good while I was tryharding it. Lots of potential for balancing the game out. The art is very good, and the audio is perfect. Loved the game even though I only reached the second boss. Would try again if I recall it later and I have my gaming laptop back (using a really old PC rn, my laptop is in maintenance).
using the number of dice as a difficulty selection is actually a really, really good idea. I'll probably add that post-jam ;)
Great style and smart concept ! Congrats !
Nice art, cool concept.
Good job!!
Really cool game! Cool concept, cool art, cool music, cool overall! Very nicely done!
This is a really neat idea! I love the dice-kicking mechanic so much! Great game.
One of the best I've played so far!
I think what makes this one work so well is that you can force the rolls if you understand how they work. Makes it a really fun game, only gripe is I think the window to shoot a boss is a little too small. I sometimes can't even reach every die in time.
Neat Top Down Shooter (or better: Enemy dodge game) with a nice dicey twist on the mechanics. The presentation is overall very consistent and the style really cool. Feels nice and juicy to play.
Really great game with a unique concept, I never managed to beat the boss though as you don't get enough time to roll and attack (I also spent a long time trying to avoid the health bar because I thought they were spikes)
really good game, i enjoy the fact that you can see in which direction you need to kick the dice in order to flip it to the desired result
My favourite game of the jam so far! I played it so long... I died at the blue boss. I didn't expected it to get so intensive. Great Job!
This game looks really nice and it fits the theme very well too. I think some kind of visual queue for when you hit an enemy would be a small improvement, but there is only so much you can do in 48 hrs, and you already did so much! I didn't realise that was an Health bar on the boss and tried to dodge it at first :D
Definitely agree with the visual cue thing. Next step would definitely be to add particle effects for those sorts of things if i had had time :P
The kick mechanic is really cool, challenging game! gj
great game but boss is too hard for me
Really awesome game that absolutely oozes charm! Did notice that it was a little hard to flip the dice if they were against walls, but other than that incredible game.
I've seen some games with randomized weapons, but THIS ONE, oh boy. Congratulations bro, the presentation is impeccable, I can really see whats going on and it's easy to understand how it works. It's also very very fun. Kudos for the solid submission bro!
This is great, I really like the idea, it get's the right balance of strategy and shooting! Found the boss particularly challenging!
Love the pixel art, squishy squashy animation. Had trouble finding the third dice since it was on top of the W in WSAD in the tutorial, after reloading a couple times, I guess that was just a matter of luck. So to speak. Good work! Especially liked the presentation here.
Really creative and fun and the perfect amount of challenging
