very cool game
Thank you!
Another great interpretation of the theme! Although at the later levels of the game, they just went for requiring the player to pixel jump and land on other side of the platform. Good entry!
Thank you! I deed the game needs to be re-balanced, but thank you for playing!
Such a cute game! Less junk food is more health. Makes sense, avoiding fries never was that hard for me, especially with random enemies pushing it into me. Great submission, well done!
Thank you! In deed is hard to avoid junk hahaha
Such a cute game! Was a little tough to play left-handed, but definitely possible (unlike a lot of jam games). One of my faves so far.
Thank you! I should've put alternative controls for right hand in deed. Love to know you liked, It means a lot to me!
Pretty nice and super cute! :-)
Thank you for the comment!
Super cuuuute! I loved the style! I just wanted to eat all the snacks! I found the health mechanic especially clever. Well done.
Thank you!
Loved the graphics!! The whole game had a really nice aesthetic - very sweet and cuddly lol. The gameplay was very difficult and to be honest I was a bit confused on how the bars on the top worked exactly for the health. Sound effects were nice, but I would consider changing the food picking up sound to maybe pick from a random three sounds (all similar of course), but it would allow for less repetition in the sfx.
Overall, definitely a super clean and well made game! I know bugs can happen when working in such a short time frame, so no worries about that!! Great job :)
Thank you very much! I would make the sound effect pitch up every candy you get, but I completely forgot about it hahaha, and the bars in deed needed some more explanation. Thank you for your feedback!
Nice take on the theme, also a logical leap for less is more :)
Having check points in the level could help, I had trouble when turrets forced me to move or eat junk :P
Check points were planned but I ran out of time ;(. But thank you for playing and for your feedback!
Pretty funnnn!
I'm happy you enjoyed!
Very cute. :)
Thank you!
Cute little game with an interesting interpretation on the theme, The artistic style is definitely the strongest point It is absolutely beautiful.
Glad you think it! I really spent a LOT of time with art (maybe a little more than I should).
Interesting idea of inverting the health bar (less is more), which works well with the message (don’t eat too much unhealthy food).
The main character is very cute and the environment looks nice too!
Overall, a cute little platformer! It’s a shame I’m not very good at platformers 😅
Thank you! It is ok i'm not hat good in platformers as well hahaha, I think I got so inspired by the old NES / GameBoy games that I made it a little too hard.
nice art and the music is good, but the player is a bit fast 😅, anyway I like the game, good job.
Thank you very much! I'll give a look into re-balancing it after the jam, so thanks for the feedback!
The game looks nice. I'd play it longer but I was not able to finish the first level. :-( I had some coordination problems with keyboard a,d for left right, space to jump and mouse to fire. But maybe this is my personal problem. I'll check later if it's better with game controller. :-)
Thank you! It also have an alternative keyboard setup using the arrow keys to move and Z and X to jump and shoot, and it have support for game controller as well. If you get to play it again let me know what you think about the rest of the game!
Love the style of the game! The platforming is a quite fun too, avoiding as many sweets as you can proved to be quite a challenge! I only wish holes weren't as punishing as they are, especially since there doesn't seem to be a coyote jump. The game also definitely feels a bit fast but that kinda grew on me with time so I don't think I'd change the speed that much.
Overall, a pretty impressive submission, good job! :)
Thank you! I really spent some time with the art, the holes became a little hard in deed, but I was timeless to make a more responsive jump. I'm very pleased that you liked it!
It looks really good. But it moves too fast. It kills eyes
I'm glad you liked! Yes in deed, I realized that on the last day of the jam, couldn't change at time because it would require more changing in the platforms.
Great game, very nice art, very nice music with the remixed of classics (reminded me of the end is nigh). That was challenging but this manageable, great content. I felt like the levels were pretty big for such a short time frame so well done, very nice "completed" little game with everything, art, music, sfx and a nice fun gameplay, congrat!
Thank you for the compliment! In deed I love the Sound Track of the end is nigh. I was planing to make bigger levels with a check point in the middle, but I didn't have enough time, so I'm glad you enjoyed!
In the first level when the amount of bullets started increasing I was like "what is this? The End is Nigh?"
And then in the next level Gymnopedies No 1 started playing as if to say yes LOL. Good taste on the soundtrack.
Lovely little game. Fantastic job on the vibes.
Thank you!
The fomx is really cute and platforming is nice!
Though, I did get a bug, where enemies in the second level killed me while I was in victory screen and the victory message stayed on screen even after respawning. :P
Still beat it in the end!
Thank you! Yeah I found that bug some 30 minutes after the dead line, I was without time to test, but I'm really happy you played until the end even with that, thank you again!
Really cool game the art reminds me a game from NES nice job! pretty dificult too x)
Thank you! I Got some inspiration from NES.
