I love the idea, the problem is the inconsistence of the shadow rendering the game way too hard and frustrating.

Space to switch with the shadows felt really unfamiliar for me since it's more commun to have space for jump (my opinion) I still love playing through the level but would be better if the shadows worked more properly. (i also totally not played with the dash, i tried again and it doesn't really feel good to use, it make passing gap easier for sure but still feel a bit off. I think it's tied to velocity so sometimes it propulse hard, other time not enough)

Last, sometimes when we touch the lava it only slow the game so sometimes we can't tell if we are going to live or not, i die one time without understanding why (i only assume it's the lava but not sure) some particle or something would be great.

I also found an exploit that allow to cheese all level, you can in fact erase the ceilling when the shadow bump it's head against it. It allow the player to reach easily above the level and just going anywhere he want by jumping down to fetch key or stuff.

The game felt too hard from the start but it's a good game concept that need more polish. It's a great game !

I absolutely love your idea! Being able to go back to your shadow's position is such a clever gimmick!

It's a shame I couldn't beat the second level even after 5 minutes trying. Sometimes the shadow just doesn't appear at all, sometimes it behaves very inconsistently and sometimes it feels I played perfectly but I still can't reach the other side...

Hey :)

Thank you so much for giving it a try :)

Ye, the shadow mechanics was quite tricky to make and I still have some unsolved problems like you've mentioned... The sync for shadow actions happens quite rare currently, I might need to change approach a little bit :)

Cool game, I like the idea you went with. I found the controls a bit difficult to use, as others have mentioned already.

very unique game. 5/5 originality.

I had to give up on the second level. I could grasp the key but never reached the other side. too difficult for me, or maybe I was missing something?

Oh and not having jump on space is a real mind twister

The controls were a little hard to use, but I like the idea! I think you should build on it.

It's a really nice and clever game for being your first! Congratulations! Only note: I would change the arrangement of the keys, it is very difficult to use keys very close together, they make your fingers cramp!

The idea there, with the shadow and teleporting to him is sooo unique and cool

it has potetial you just need to switch the controls tho lol

The controlls need some getting used to, but it was overall a nice game.

Nice stuff!  The controls were a little too tough for me to wrap my head around, but I really like the concept!  For your first platformer, a really cool go for it!
