That's a very interesting entry. The ambiance, artwork, audio, etc, is amazing, everything fits very well together. I think the pace is a bit too slow for my taste, but you guys did a really good job on this one. Congrats!

Stunning game. The artwork is incredible. I really liked the main menu, it made the game feel alive from the beginning.

I wish there was more mechanics other then walking towards the fire, especially since the drones move faster, you can sometimes just get caught by random movement luck. Maybe some overhead shelter areas, or being safe if stationary.

Still, really well done, it feels very polished and looks amazing.

Thanks for playing and commenting! Yeah, we had more ideas for things the player could do, but when time got short, opted to test and fix bugs instead of adding more features. There were a lot of bugs with the drone tracking the disappearing path that took a lot of time to sort out. I’m happy that we fixed as much as we did and I think the tracking works well now, but do wish the player had some more options once a drone starts tracking.

Making it work well instead of adding features is a good way to go! Just some suggestions :p

Nice work on this one!:)

Really beautiful game, visuals, music and a touching story. The music really make you feel that you don't know where to go but you just need to keep going.

Very solid entry! Great graphics and music, engaging gameplay! One of the best jam game! Congratulations!

Super cozy and sound + art style is beyond amazing

Very cozy game. I loved the art and the music. I kinda wish there was a bit more to the gameplay to spice it up.

Obviously, the only issue with this game is there isn’t more! If there were 20+ levels, I’d probably want an additional mechanic/enemy or pattern etc. I love the take on the theme and wanted to specifically call out the great cliff art. More please!

AHHH JUST AS THE STORY WAS ABOUT TO PICK UP!! I need to see more! The game was great too but that story really had me on the edge of my seat!! Would love to see more entries in the future!

I really loved the art and music choices for Snow. The game was intense at times without completely stressing me out. That ending though... 🤯Now I need to know what happened!!! Very compelling story. My only very small issue with the game is that the text goes by really fast. Great entry!

You really made me feel vulnerable and frail to the elements- I loved it! Sent chills down my spine. <3 <3 <3 <3

This was great ! Visually it reminded me a lot about Arco. The snow mechanism is really clever.

Was the drones movement pattern random in the last levels ? I didn't recognized something I could use and got through the last one by pure luck. Though waiting for an opening, chilling under the snow and listening to the music, is very pleasant.

Developer

Glad you liked it! Yeah, the drone movement is random and I wish we would have gotten to a better design for the later levels, but ran out of time.

Great atmosphere, love the art and music! :)

I loved the art of this game, it was also a clever take on the theme - having the snow erase your tracks. The sound was great and the game did a good job of creating tension with the watchers. I think my only criticism is I would have liked to progress the opening dialogue bits at my own pace, they moved a touch fast for me. Otherwise, great entry!

Absolutely fantastic entry.

Beautiful visuals, easy to understand controls, great illustration of the "hidden" state when you're near a tree. The difficulty from what I've seen so far has been quite well balanced. I also really enjoy the story and how simple choices can affect it. And the music... it's just lovely.

This is one that I'll come back to; it deserves a lot more than just a few minutes of play.

I usually try to give constructive feedback on these entries but I have no notes for this entry. Congratulations to you three on your great work!

A very peaceful game.
I like the artstyle and music.
Sadly i'm an impacient person and couldn't make it through the game, but it's still greate! :)

Developer

Yeah, I can understand the pace is not for everyone. Thanks for playing!

Developer

Thank you so much for taking the time. I understand absolutely what you say about impacient. I'm a little bit of one myself, so this game was challenging for me in many ways. I struggled very hard to not give the idea of proposing a dash to the programmer just to make it faster overall LMAO. Imagine that! But that would have been a different game and I get it's not for everyone! Thank you so much again :) <3

Made a YouTube playthrough just for you, so you can watch it sped up if you want ;) https://youtu.be/uR1ba4ljd-Q

Thank you so much. Will watch it immediately! (:

EDIT: Watched it. The story is extremely interessting! Now I wish I'd have had the patience to play it myself :')
For me, a straight 5 Star performance!

Beautiful game, and beautiful atmosphere, I love the concept, also the narration gives that dreamy touch. The mechanics are very interesting, also all very polished. Loved the game, and loved the ending (or maybe one of them), great job.

Developer

Thank you! I think Hatmix did a great job with the narrations. I love his writing!

Really beautiful game, and the drone following the snowpath is amazing. An idea would have been to make the player faster when he walk back on his snowpath, to escape and as the snow is gone

Developer

Thanks for playing and commenting! The design is intentionally slow, but we probably should have restarted the player at the point they got caught and made a pause menu option to restart the level. It feels too punishing to get caught close to the fire and have to start from the beginning.

Submitted(+2)

Nono, I meant when he breaks the snow, going back on this path could have been faster. The same path the drones follows

Developer

Ah, I see. Thanks for the suggestion! I think it makes a lot of sense.
