I accidentally discovered the tnt powered jump before that was introduced :D Also goddamn that first boss fight was tough, but felt rewarding to beat. I felt the controls were difficult and demanded a lot of precision, which isn't too far off from the source material of Spelunky.  In particular grabbing and throwing the tnt felt awkward especially in timed mini games and that's why I eventually bounced off. Overall had fun

Cool game. I really like how polished the game feels and looks. You had a good number of levels with some interesting puzzles. I also liked how levels usually had a secret way to go about them differently.

I found the controls a bit difficult to manage a times. The first boss I felt like I couldn’t hit some of the arrows for some reason and had to just keep trying until it worked lol.

All in all, amazing game, great work!

Great aesthetic and a shocking amount of really polished levels. I was not particularly good at the game hahah but did find the distance you have to be to break a block a little punishing. Really tight and great looking platformer good job!

Very well put together! I love the aesthetic! I found the wall jumps and mining to be a bit clunky sometimes.

Saw your progress videos through the jam and have been excited to try this. This is such a great entry and use of theme, also I am a bit biased about the retro computer look. Having multiple ways to solve the puzzles is great and this is a great puzzle/platformer game. I only wish I was better at it so I could get through more levels. I struggled with that boss!

Edit: had to go back and try some more on the boss. And you have a level select that saves progress! I still can't beat it lol. Maybe later.

Well thought out levels, reminds me a bit of Chip's Challenge. Love the retro look and the graphics all mesh really well. Good amount of challenge too, I struggled with the smiley face boss who was quite menacing as he hurled fire balls from above! Great work!

Developer

the visuals were based on chip's challenge actually! nice that someone caught onto that

Great game! I could only get to level 1-7, what’s the strategy for this one?

Developer(+1)

you can complete the level in multiple ways, but the easiest one is just digging under the level and going to the goal
(by the way, your progress is saved and you can revisit the level with level select)

This is awesome, I'm such a sucker for games with this sort of aesthetic and theming.

I was very excited to play this and I was not disappointed! I love the style and will be taking a page out of your book for stylization in the future. The bosses were charming too!
