A lot of fun, the multi biro was super hard! I really like the shop you implemented and the theme as well, great work!

This was really fun! I liked having to balance my health and movement, also great job on hitting the theme! Final boss was super cool but a little spongey.

Wow, this game was way more fun than I expected. I loved the boss fight at the end, great work! The risk/reward for erasing the marks on the paintings was an excellent addition and the way you show the enemies' health was pretty fun.

Well executed game, that kept me engaged for quite some time. Only thing i found to critique - and it's really nothing to bad - is, that it felt like the shop pop-up came a little too often and ended up disturbing the core gameplay.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The end of levels is too often? Would you suggest it should be like the game over screen where its a continue or shop option rather than just the shop?

Submitted

Oh! maybe it was a glitch?!? I've just tried playing it again, and this time I got the "Too many Scribbles..." notifications on the top of the screen - those didn't show when I first played it - So yeah, things make more sense now.

Developer

Ah thanks! Now that I got some hard play testing in theres some edge cases popping up like yours or a crash at the end of the game. Hard to catch but good to know when it happens.

Very cool concept! a very literal interpretation but it was well executed. I enjoyed the popping sounds, very satisfying as well!

Developer(+1)

I wanted to do a swiff sound cause it felt  more realistic but it honestly was atrocious. I'm glad you liked the game and sound direction.

What a lovely idea executed very well! I like the art style and the mechanics worked well. I enjoyed reading the history of video games, perhaps an update could include more "Easter Eggs" to read? :)

Enjoyed the game a lot.
Wish I could get some more valuable feedback, but to me this game is just on point and pretty much perfect as it is! <3

You guys are great, I'm so grateful to have the positive feedback and know people enjoyed this game!

Nice game! I like how you integrated the scribbles as a mechanic that you have to keep erasing. Instead of just standing somewhere and shooting it pushes you to move around more.

Developer

Thanks! Safe spotting was an issue in my last game so it ended up being a good way to be on theme and help that problem.

This was really  interesting, great work fr

Awesome submission, albeit a little short, but that's fine for a game jam.

I totally loved the idea of erasing your opponents tracks but in my playthrough it turned out to be almost irrelevant. I never came close to being covered in too much enemy paint and just focused on killing.

So my feedback would be: make the "erase" part a little more relevant to the gameplay!

EDIT: Oh one more thing: You have an explanation in the game start. why not explain the controls there? There are a lot of ppl who don't read the page but rather hit play immediately (so I have learned)

Developer

Good feedback! Everything you said is a good point. Seems like youre an avid gamer and i had a feeling this game would be too short and easy in that regard, but I've had a lot of game jams that people never saw the ending of because it was too long or boring. It's good to know I'm getting closer to a balanced experience.
