Cool game! The typing to erase mechanic was very cool. I also liked how the letters just got up and started running away haha.

I’m not sure if the screen shake thing was you losing time or not, but I found that if I tried typing the escaping letter twice, fast, it would shake the screen. I’d have to wait until it was not longer flashing red to press it again.

Really nice game. Was a fun one to play!

I really liked this - I've played a few games now where the idea is to "erase information" to some degree and this might be my favorite so far. I really liked the little extra mechanic of the letters trying to escape and the art/style was fantastic! One minor complaint is that sometimes the letters escaping would overlap and it was really difficult to tell what either of the letters were but other than that great job!

Definitely one of the most original entries tried! I loved the concept and the way you implemented the challenges. When I reached lvl 5 I couldn't proceed anymore, I don't know if it was the end of the game, but the scroll wouldn't open when pressing the space.

Good job, that's very surprising for a first game! 🎉

Thank you for the very nice review.

Yes my game was quite broken, not enough testers I guess

Love the art and sounds.
I found there was a delay between being able to type the letter the second time and when it began to move. Like I was attempting to double tap a key but it wasn't registering. Well done.

Developer

Thanks you !
Yes there is invulnerability frames, but I should have not done that maybe

I got stuck between lvl 5 and 6 but that was so much fun I would 100% love to play more and maybe you could include some lore into the game

Developer

With more time and a higher level in Godot, I would have done it yeah !

This is the funnest typing game I've ever played. Very original. I think I'm a good typer and I found it hard :)

I do too much typo for this game but it's really fun aproach of the theme, the letter running is a really funny idea

For feedback: It seems the return to menu button when you lose don't work.

When you lose the defeat screen could be improve, actually the change to black screen is too abrupt just a fadein/out would be better rather than direct change but with the theme why not invade the screen with running letter ? (just an idea since i found the runing letter really fun and cool and since they escape that could fit i think)

I also noticed that if you type too fast the same letter on running letter it count as typo and you lose some time wich can be annoying at higher level

Developer

Thank you !

Yeah i broke the signal button of return to menu

The letter have invulnerability frames, but I wasn't clear and shouldn't make the player loose time. My mistake

I am so bad at typing games even though I type for a living. This was a fun spin on a typing game. when the letters started to run I thought is was really funny at first and then it was just a constant source of anxiety when I would get to a new "word"

Great Job
