Game Description
A short moving picture on the theme of "Erasure", Archival Oblivion takes place in a world where history is at risk of being lost forever. Join our hero as they gain new skills by learning from history, and endeavour to save all the creatures of the Archives before time runs out.

How does your game tie into the theme?
The player must collect archival artifacts before they are erased, depicted in part by using visuals which are faded/fading. The game uses public domain imagery and audio to highlight the themes of history and erasure.

What a cool game! I love when there are entries that are sooo different from all the rest. The music and image choices all went so well together! Just an FYI, as someone without a 4k monitor, the game starts out too big. Thankfully the full screen button shrinks the game to fit my 13 year old monitor. This is what I was able to save on my first run. I'm gonna go give it a second try and hopefully save more!

Really interesting stylistic choices - I loved the old movie style intro, music and general look/feel to it. I also was pleasantly surprised to see all the items I gathered displayed at the end. The zoom out on the dash felt a bit jarring for me but other than that I enjoyed this entry, really nice work!

This is a piece of art! brilliant use of public domain material - it suits the theme extremely well.  I think you can be very proud of what you have curated and archived in this production.

What an amazing, unique, bold choice of visuals!

Cool concept. I liked your take on the auto run gameplay. I think it would be interesting to provide a reward for the number of artifacts you collect.

I could see the images fading and it was a neat concept. I found the controls of the dash a bit hard to focus and concentrate as it zoomed in and out. Nice job, the music was fitting.
