Super cool game. I remember seeing you post about it on Discord. The mechanics are really interesting, and the 3D models are really nice looking.

Sadly I couldn’t get the eraser paper to stay up, it just kept closing down as I tried to erase :(

I’d love to see you put some more work into, this is a real cool concept!

I'm glad you liked it! The bugs are already fixed and I'm polishing the game (adding menus, smoother camera, enemy behavior etc) to upload a final version after the jam ends

The video was very helpful, thanks for that! The paper / art aesthetic is so good, I wonder if the whole game could be more like that. Great interpretation of the theme.

Dude this is insane work for a jam game--nice job.

That said it feels super buggy at times with the camera, a couple times I lost control of the mouse, or the camera got super zoomed in and I couldn't do anything.

Hi cool concept and cool sounds.
had big trouble with the viewport or something, couldn`t move the eraser around, at first it was stuck in the middle, later on i could erase a little bit but than it wont go back into the eraser/paper mode.

You can set your game to have a fullscreen button on itch.io.
I guess that would help with some of those issues?

I liked the erasing yellowed paper, sounds coo! The RMB sometimes popped on and off from holding but might be with mouse outside the viewport on browser

Very cool concept! I got stuck in the ground at one point and I couldn't open the erase mode when there were 3 enemies for some reason but it was super cool!! I think a cool idea would be that unerasable objects are drawn in pen on your page and the eraser blob effect goes behind it on the Z axis so it visually shows that you can't erase them.

The game looked really neat, it's too bad about the controls.  I think one of the top things you could try is setting the mouse mode to Captured, I had to keep circling the mouse around the screen to try and turn the camera the way I wanted.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Just updated the page with a gameplay video with most of the bugs  fixed

Liked the idea but controls didnt work so could not get anywhere.

The concept was solid and the game looks decent too, but it's practically unplayable due to the buggy controls. I can't move the eraser in the eraser mode so I can't progress. I could somehow jump over the rock though, so I could at least see the enemy before I got stuck due to not being to erase him.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm adressing these issues to update the game to a playable version after the jam ends

Nice idea!

The controls didn't quite work for me though
Mouse is upside down, and right click won't stay open :(

Erase Me how he managed to get his mouse to lock in to the screen!

Thanks! The mouse locking bugwas on the radar but due to the deadline I couldn't solve this for the web version, but I'm working on fixing the bugs and this is almost fixed, but I'm thinking about changing how the pointer logic works so it could be played with a gamepad too
