Is it intentional that you can go out-of-bounds?

You nailed some core mechanics for being so new to Godot, well done :) It would be cool to have some visual feedback for when you are hit or when your attack is successful.

Impressive work for a team who's only been using Godot for a few days! I felt the stamina regen was a little too slow for how quickly the boss attacked

Kept running away from the enemy to hear the music play (:

WASD or Arrow keys :- Movement

K :- Attack

Shift :- Sprint

Space :- Roll

I dont really know how to play.  Also clicking the "Im too scared" option just soft locks the game?
Are we supposed to run from the enemy until that red bar runs out? Because I cant attack. I tried every key

Developer

Oh sorry that man. We couldn't add tutorial due to the rush. You attack using K.

The boss is difficult, even for someone who is experienced in souls games.

Trying to play but couldn't manage to attack the enemy

K to attack

We're third year university students. Started learning Godot a few days ago. After a lot of struggling and coding, we somehow made this end product right before mid semester exams. To be honest, we made this as a submission to Brackey's Game Jam but missed the deadline by a few minutes ðŸ˜‚. I don't think this is helping my case.

But we had a ton of fun making this. Would love to improve this one and work on many more in the future.
