A fun little platform game! The theme was incorporated well with the ghost and player views.

Level 3 was tricky, though, because the enemy ghost was hard to avoid. The hitboxes might have been a bit large as well. Also, I got squished by a platform but was still able to continue—funny! 😊

The music was very calming, which added to the experience. Did miss some VFX or animations to bring some extra live into the scene. Maybe in a future update.

Definitely a solid attempt for our jam. Keep up the great work!

I can't get past level two. I interact with the bed, but nothing happens after becoming a ghost or changing back. to a boy. (Well, I might have seen some switches appear once, but I died right after.) What am I supposed to do?

The skeleton of a game is there. Everything functions as intended mostly, and while I suspect the boy being smushed into the ground by an elevator was a glitch, it was still pretty hilarious so I'll actually give you points for it. The music was rather soothing as well.

I get that you didn't have much time to finish it, but in the future even a tiny bit of polish would go a long way. A few stock sound effects for jumping or dying, a blinking idle animation, those sorts of things are worth prioritizing IMO.

Music was very nice and calm

Some pointers:

I understand gamejams are short so its always a good idea to first start with static sprites as you did, but it could just give that little extra with some animations.

An another thing i notices is that the spikes killed me where i would not have expected. i guess you uses a box collider, next time try to use a collider that hugs the shape of the item a bit better.

But solid entry to the jam
