Description
I imagined a cinematic through an ancient city. I tried to use as few sounds as possible.

I really liked the feeling I got from your song, but think the low end on the mix is missing a bit, great job :)

Take care!

Thanks for the feedback

Nice work on creating a sense of atmosphere.

Constructive critique:

High synths are maybe a little harsh and piercing. The mix doesn't really have much of a spatial sense to it, like things being near and far.

Overall good work though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I tried to make the instruments have enough reverb so they don't stand out, I keep learning.

The vibes are great—very exploratory, like searching for ruins right before the big discovery. Adding a closing cadence could make the ending feel more complete, as I was really wanting more!

Thanks! Yes, actually, I'm used to making loops for games, so they usually end like that hehe, but yes, it would have been nice to give it a better ending.

It was quite cinematic indeed. Low bass entrance around 0:50 was really nice. I liked the overall flow, but I feel it did not have some final kind of phrase maybe?
Overall, great job!

Developer

Yes, I think you are right. Thanks for the feedback.

Sounds great! Captured the feeling of exploring an ancient lost ruins very well, and I enjoyed how it switched things up as it progressed but still flows naturally. Great use of instruments and synths to help enhance the ambience.

Some critiques I have is that maybe there could've been a little extra mixing to the sound, though I can't say exactly what. Probably some extra EQing in the mid-range. I also noticed something sounding a little dissonant with the low bass, like something is overlapping it when the key change occurs.

Other than that, I enjoyed this. Great work!

Yes, I'm more used to mixing bands, I still need to practice a lot for these things, thanks for the feedback.
