Writing:

I'm familiar with Cetus' writing, and enjoyed seeing him writing for a very different character than Judah (ICO). The writing generally flowed well, and it was a kind of story we really haven't seen in VNs before. I can tell that research was done into philosophy, and it reminded me a bit of The Good place towards the end. 

If I had to suggest places for improvement, there are times in the first half when the story feels a little rushed, especially in getting to know the characters.  Mori's arc I feel like needs a little more time for it to reach a full impact, and Mem's, I think, needs a bit of breathing room so we're not just seeing him as a sad dying person...it's kind of hard for me to relate to / want to follow his story. 

Art/Music:

 I also really enjoyed the art style for this VN, Arcadia really hit it out of the park. I liked the expressionist CGs that felt right out of an Edvard Munch painting, and some of the cutouts felt very inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena. 

 Only thing that i felt could use a little tweaking is that Memento didn't quite mesh. Maybe that's purposeful given his character, but the design felt a little incoherent. 

 I also really liked the space waltz music, it was a nice use of original music to highlight a key moment.

 All in all, although there are things that could be polished, this is a nice one-shot VN. Stories like this have been told before, but everything works together to deliver a vivid experience.

(Been watching a lot of Kitchen Nightmares lately, so insert the *"Finally, some good fucking food"* gif here)

I was really pleasantly surprised by this VN, and I think it's a crime that it didn't make it in the MyWolf VN Jam. 

The author has created a fascinating setting, both in terms of the planet's geodynamics and the country's political-social history, without bogging down the VN with exposition. The author has mentioned that he's may write more in this setting, and I am super eager to see that whenever it comes out.

In a nutshell, this is a story of small revolutionary kindnesses. 

The art style of this VN reminds me a little of Fear and Hungers, which fits with the post-revolution cold zone of the setting. The art is pretty utilitarian, but it doesn't grow old to look at

If I'm going to pick at this VN, there are some places where the sentences feel a little awkward, but mostly this VN has well-crafted writing with some subtle wordplay. 

All in all, a definite recommendation from me.

Well, this would've been easily within my Top 5 MAY WOLF 2023 VN's, had it, ya know, made the deadline.  (Which is why I'm giving this one a Normal Itch.io Rating first.)

A very interesting style to try to imitate.  Haven't played anything trying to be Gothic Victorian.

I really do hope you add a little more context because that ending, oh boy that ending...

It probably would've gotten an 13/15 on the Jam Rating.
