Another clone of arkanoid, but the one which tries a new approach to the genre rather than copying its sucess.
I played the original way back since its original release in 1996 and loved it right away, because it innovated the concept. And this remake is brilliant. Also, it is quite stable since it runs very well on my Toshiba laptop and hasn't crashed not even once.
Even though I prefer the original, do not miss the chance to try this version. It is simply something you need to try before dismissing it as another Arkanoid rip-off. The concept is the same, the gameplay, is quite different. Go take a ride with it.
One quip I do have is, why three players instead of four? I'm pretty sure it would have been slightly better if four players were at the same time enjoying it. But alas, just a tinny weenie complaint.
This game is a fun-to-play, light-hearted adventure through managing personal finance and making life decisions. A great introduction to all the nuances of managing one's personal finances, and covers a lot of stuff I wish they'd teach in schools! There are fun graphics, an interesting story line, and it's worth playing through a few times to explore the different career and budgeting pathways.
Excellent product. Finally someone put some thought into teaching financial literacy to kids and young adults in a fun and intelligent way. I learned a number of things and will be getting a full class set soon. Well worth the price.
What a thoughtful, well fleshed out game. Budgeting is something me and my family have had issues with in the past, and despite dozens of hours reading complex strategies/methods, nothing ever really 'clicked'. This game did that for me. I highly recommend this to people in all age brackets for a thorough introduction to zero-sum budgeting, as well as a better quality of life.
This game is such a fun way to learn about financial literacy, budgeting and investments. It will be a great resource to use with students in the classroom. It is so interactive and engaging!
