FUCKING FANTASTIC highly rec the gdocs version such inventive use of format and type AND WOW
honestly this is the best ttrpg manual i've ever read. it's funny and has tons of character in the writing, and the descriptions are pretty easy to follow! i haven't been able to play a game of it yet, but i know that when i get the chance, it will ROCK
I really love this playbook — it's perfect for sci-fi Dr. Who or fantasy Last Unicorn inspired characters. I recently tried it out in a fantasy setting with a last-of-her-kind demonic character, and loved that it gave me a way to bring in a flirty adversary and also a way to introduce a big threat to the game. (In this case, a magical letter that looks like a break-up letter to whomever is reading it.) This playbook is the perfect touch for exploring a character who feels lonely and isolated, but still hopes against hope for something of closeness and understanding.
