- the idea is kind of clever, but I didn't seem to grasp the concept or there is a bug. I took the boss health down to 0 and suddenly it was 50% again and I died.

The game was made in just a few days due to my busy schedule. It takes the theme of Shadows&Alchemy in a metaphorical sense. It is inspired by the ideas of Jungian psychology and Shadow Work. In the current state, the player reads an intro that can be clicked through, and they find themselves in a small room with a mirror.
When the player approaches the mirror, they can press 'E' to enter the Mirror, in which they will find themselves in the Chamber of Anger. This creature can be fought by clicking to shoot projectiles at it, or using WASD to move around to try to lure the creature into charging into pillars.
If the player fights the creature by shooting it, the player will find it only becomes stronger and stronger. If the player doesn't shoot the creature, but instead only baits it into charging into pillars, it will be knocked unconscious. The player then can press E while hovering over the creature with the mouse to "Capture Anger." This will bring the current version of the game to an end.
Another alternate ending can be achieved if the player allows Anger to kill them without fighting back. This will cause Anger to turn blue and slowly patrol around its chamber. The player can respawn to return to the Chamber and press E to capture Anger.
Extra Notes
I had a lot of difficulty getting any free time to work on the project, and my artist dropped out on me at the last moment, so the game is in a very rough state, but I'm really proud of the concept of the game overall and would like to continue working on it beyond the Jam.
