  • This game was beautiful. Definitely gave me some nostalgia of playing on my gameboy. The mechanics were easy to understand, and I enjoyed the stealth aspect of it. The crafting was nice and not overly complicated in the slightest. It made it easier to focus on using the potions to solve the puzzle. The GDD was very well thought out, and I'm going to have to check out the stream! I am very excited to see what you do next!

You play as Ada an aspiring alchemist at the Alchemy Academy. However unfortunately Ada's studies have been cut short via an invasion of goblins. Ada must find ingredients to craft potions that when thrown in the right spot will create shadows that will help you sneak around and escape the goblin threat.

TLDR: Loot stuff. Brew potion. Throw it at beacon. Beacon drops key to leave level.

It's also a gameboy game made in GB studio.

man i kept trying but i just can’t get past the second guy, it’s so frustrating that he keeps getting on my position and trapping me! the game looks good and i can see the mechanic being cool. and i kept trying so many different things with the potion, attacking the enemy with it, hitting the door, but each time it took a long time to get back there.

thank you for checking out the game. have you been able to destroy the beacon with the potion in level 2 to get the key the same as the first level? That is essential to beat every level. The trick with level 2 is timing the throw correctly so you throw it early. Also once the beacon is destroyed and the shadows are created if you wait in them the enemy will deaggro so long as you are in the shadows.
